After collapsing due to exhaustion, catching a 5 hour nap, I managed to finish your character cards, 5 hours late, even after the extension. I tried to do the rest of them in one run, but I didn't get any sleep last night because I needed to take a break from the LAST run of cards, and I spent like 8 hours playing Final Fantasy X, in lieu of sleep. Pizza needed a mental break, forgot to sleep. Tried to finish cards, couldn't.

For the sake of moving this round along I shall do the PUBLIC writeup now, and I will attempt to make up for the rather lackluster private reports I've been giving out this round. This means it could take an hour. I will put real effort into this one.

If I had all week to do these cards, I promise I'd spend a lot more time on each one. There's SO much room for artistic creativity here, the whole reason why I want to host this game by myself and spend time making the game individually fun for everyone. It saddens me when I have to give a two-sentence blurb as your report. I want to describe surroundings, show pictures, play music, set the mood.... there's so much more I could do if there were fewer of you to do it for, and time weren't a factor. All in all I am disappointed with where the game currently sits compared to my creative vision for the game. However, only I as a game designer and writer probably care all that much about it. All I get is positive feedback.

Anyways. Yak yak yak get to the writing pizzaguy/

The fact that your under taking this juggernaut is remarkable....62 59X2=178 sentences.....that's like my English exam essay....

Then sending out 62 59 individual PMs.....I would have snapped after the first round

Great write up ATPG. Adding in the last names really helped I think in, and the music really added to the atmosphere yet again.

    Thank you.

My concern is that information could be used against players... technically you're not supposed to know what is happening around the town, because you're not everywhere at once, but with no public communication, having no public writeup would harm the game's entertainment value. I can't do a public writeup very well without mentioning a name of the player or their character or their weapon or... something. Sentences need nouns once in a while, not just pronouns. However, any weapon you see is common enough that several players may have one, some names (first or last) are re-used, and locations such as "field", "tower", or "parking lot" may be virtually anywhere.

I think it is a fair compromise, but I will feel absolutely terrible if public writeup information spoils the game for anyone. This is a work-in-progress and I haven't ironed out all the kinks.

    Great write up

    Loving the game

Comment: I hope everyone reads that last part about the Omega Transformations. This game will not last forever; if you don't find the solutions to the puzzle I've given you and escape, you will eventually transform into the twisted, zombie-like Omega creatures.

Tick tock. Most of you don't need to worry, but as people die they become zombies, and even those you trusted all game, who are still alive, may turn into something purely evil.
So from now on, once per phase someone will turn into a zombie?

You cannot add days to life but you can add life to days.

    Sort of.

The Omega Transformations are still alive... they are just enhanced, insane humans. The zombies are the dead re-animated. But yes, the virus is within each one of you, and it will strike once a phase unless someone fights it off.

Poor Backwards Logic is a zombie. Woe.

That Omega thing ... if it happens to someone in your neighborhood, will you know? Other than by them suddenly and unaccountably ripping your head off, that is?

We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

That wasn't really the issue - the issue was something a little more, erm, something else. I'm assuming I can't go into specifics, so I won't but the above was not the reason I got whacked first.

hmm.... does anyone know how the running away from combat works? Can we move only to a set number of squares and dependent on how much we have moved that phase? sorry if missed it in the rules section... to be honest i am not sure if it is something that is open knowledge

    ATPG –

How does the item drop and search features work?
Are you tracking which areas have been searched?
Can the same area be searched twice and find items in both searches?
    EDIT:
What can be expected if mutiple people search the same area?

Well, well, well, lots going on in another excellent writeup.

There were some interesting developments for my own character too, looking forward to phase 4.
