Question for ATPG when he regains consciousness: how many words do you actually write, on average, per update? Public writeup, character cards etc. Obviously it depends on how much action takes place in an update, but you know, ballpark figures.

On my week of no internet acces, I wrote 44 pages of word doucment making an AAR from scratch, so it did have its perks, I don't plan on hosting it for a while though.... I must have done about 10000 words there, and 44 pages is like 2/3 of one of atpg's rounds, so I'd say about 15000 words per update at a guess

I wouldn't even want to guess, but I think it is more like; each player he has to plot on the map, check to see if any players meet up..., "roll the dice" for each battle, each round of combat, each item that player may be able to find, check the mode each player is in, then update each card with this info, then do write up...we clocked ATPG at around 60-70 wpm typing. I'll tell you if this was my game (which it never would be-I'm not that insane, no really), you guys wouldn't be getting anything back for like another week, at least. I'm not that "techie" and can't type anywhere near as fast.

Honestly, you orgahs... I don't know. You casually bring up a 44-page Word document and then manage to sound slightly disappointed in it, when comparing it to ATPG's output! The largest game I ever hosted was a NotW on CFC that required a 39-page Word Document over the course of the entire game. Including role PMs. I am beginning to suspect that each one of you is a machine, or perhaps a hive of something.

If this were my game I'd have disassembled my computer and gone off into the wilderness to live a new life as a hunter-gatherer by now.

But I just can't see how, short of employing people, ATPG can hammer out the sort of output rate that would make whoever it was that organised the Beijing Olympics raise an eyebrow. (And looking at some of the mafia games on this forum, it's not just him. Although it is mostly him.)

(Oh yeah, and also NotW XXX (see signatures of... many people) is a thing that is there, on the Internet, and it is hosted by Frozen In Ice who is a guy who is also there on the Internet. Come to think of it, he's written a lot of stuff too. You're all very odd people. )

, to be fair I think I used size 14 font, which is reasonably big

Its named Bronze Age total war (basiced on the medieval 1 mod, ancient total war) and I have most of it sorted, I used to host things without being prepared in the past, it was a very bad idea

Or perhaps go to the mental asylum after my fingertips freezing up and my eyeballs exploding
