Against players with a fighting spirit and a team mentality, absolutely I expected he would get taken down. Now was just about the appropriate time, too... other threats are on the rise.

Richard Bauer was involved in three brutal battles involving crowds of five people or more, and was severely damaged each time. He was going to get beat. I'm impressed the dice rolls went as they did, and he actually took out a couple people in the process and damaged many others. The character's purpose was fulfilled; it impacted the general strategy of the entire player roster and caused fear and destruction throughout the middle of the map. It punished those who gathered in groups, and it was even demonstrated what the dangers of acting as a group were when someone tossed a nail bomb in the middle of the Phase Six battle. Everything I predicted for the character came to pass, in approximately the time frame I expected.

I'm impressed with that, because I've never hosted a game like this and much of this game involves entirely new concepts. To have been able to predict not only the behaviors but also the timeline of the game so far, when the player input is totally out of my hands, and so are the dice rolls, I think is pretty nifty. There's only been one aspect of the game that I predicted which has not even come close to my expectations thus far, due to player's choices. But we shall see.
