My orders for this round are to play dead! Its a bold strategy I think, lets see how it pans out.

1. Have you located weapons that are better than a basic pistol yet?

2. Found any healing items yet, or traded for any?

3. How much of the map have you explored?

4. Found any clues which might help you escape or advance your mission?

5. Encountered any other people? Do you wish to?

6. Do you have a plan of action? I recommend against standing still doing nothing for several turns, but it is your game, play as you will.

Against players with a fighting spirit and a team mentality, absolutely I expected he would get taken down. Now was just about the appropriate time, too... other threats are on the rise.

Richard Bauer was involved in three brutal battles involving crowds of five people or more, and was severely damaged each time. He was going to get beat. I'm impressed the dice rolls went as they did, and he actually took out a couple people in the process and damaged many others. The character's purpose was fulfilled; it impacted the general strategy of the entire player roster and caused fear and destruction throughout the middle of the map. It punished those who gathered in groups, and it was even demonstrated what the dangers of acting as a group were when someone tossed a nail bomb in the middle of the Phase Six battle. Everything I predicted for the character came to pass, in approximately the time frame I expected.

I'm impressed with that, because I've never hosted a game like this and much of this game involves entirely new concepts. To have been able to predict not only the behaviors but also the timeline of the game so far, when the player input is totally out of my hands, and so are the dice rolls, I think is pretty nifty. There's only been one aspect of the game that I predicted which has not even come close to my expectations thus far, due to player's choices. But we shall see.

I believe I am missing orders from 12 people. I need more orders before I can proceed. This isn't acceptable.

Start dropping people's hit points or whatever that stat is by one for every 12 hours they're late, then leave 'em at 1 for the duration. That way if any of us stumble across any of them, we can kill 'em and take their stuff and maybe even get credit for killing them if they're bad guys. Win/win! :)

(I'm half serious; most of the people on that list have been late just about every time.)
