Oh I have thoughts, for sure.

Remember that there's some 800 or less tiles of play space, and each player has only 1 tile that they are on and 8 more that they control. 9 tiles out of 800 or so isn't a lot, so it's really unluckiness which would cause your death no matter how formidable any one opponent might be.

The game is designed such that the town will get progressively more and more hostile to the living, innocent players, by death or by conversion to evil. You've got a certain reasonable amount of time, from the beginning of the game, to meet with other players, share information, and solve whatever local puzzle you can, while the innocent team is being slowly annihilated. You're working against the clock of course... the idea is to get out before it gets too late.

With each passing phase the zombie horde grows larger, and the evil characters kill more good characters, and even when the evil characters die they tend to become zombies too and share their information. Then you've got the Queen Plaga running around now, and I'll go on the record as saying that isn't a good thing.

It is possible to avoid the dangers, because you can move in 8 or 16 different directions, and most can move a decent enough distance. Since there are so many innocents and so few evil characters, it's simply a game of avoiding or killing off the evil characters, or sneaking past them or defending against them until you can run away, or finding the items which can protect you from them. But in any case, you still need to find viable routes out of town or solve the main puzzle of dark falls, in order to win an innocent victory, because although it is possible to destroy all the zombies and evil characters, you will all slowly transform into Omega creatures, and that is the ultimate time clock. You'll never survive in here, so it's best to find a way out and get out.

What strategy you use, what direction you move, and what you do when you get there... how you accomplish your goals... that much I am afraid is all up to you.
