By the way everyone is getting a full character card this phase, and I urge you to keep this copy of your card so I can simply give you an "update" next round. I had the time and the desire, next round... maybe not so much.

Well, I was walking along, and then out of the sky, it just hit me. It dawned on me that I don't necessarily have to describe carnage that wasn't happening.

So, as if a weight was lifted off of my chest, I returned to the basics of storytelling. And slowly, I started to feel better, even though I felt like I was missing a part of myself.

Someone mentioned herbs in one of the quicktopics, which reminds me.

You guys are aware that you have to send me a message and actually "consume" the herb before it has any effect whatsoever, right? You don't gain anything from having it in your possession until you ingest it.

If I didn't make that clear, I apologize. Many of you have herbs, so check your inventory and don't forget they exist now.

The plague demons are back hunting I fear. And that sniper+ Otto the serial killer are still loose. And if I get ATPG:s hints correctly, the plaga queen spawns are alyssa clones (fate worse than death+ human female face), that is, they look human until they "mate". Scared yet?

The zombies have 1 kill this far btw. Been close to kill a bunch more though. And 1 killed by omega transformations. So this far they haven't been that scary.

Some have asked exactly what the order of priority is regarding who gains the first strike in battle, if any. Here it is.




BEFORE THE MOVE and no movement

***Engage mode (successful, versus target only) happens before the move.
-unless you fail awareness check against stealth-
-unless you attacked this target the previous phase (you cannot use this to gain an attack against someone that survived a battle with you the preceding phase, because either you ran from battle or they did or both-

happens before

***Sniper mode (successful, versus target only) happens before the move.
-slightly slower than Engage because of careful aiming involved-
-also, unless you fail awareness check against stealth-
-unless you attacked this target the previous phase (you cannot use this to gain an attack against someone that survived a battle with you the preceding phase, because either you ran from battle or they did or both-

AFTER THE MOVE or NO MOVE

happens before

***Stealth Vigilante (when stealth succeeds, versus known non-humans)
-unless you fail awareness check against stealth-
-unless target is human-
-unless target is an Omega Transformation and has not been revealed as such-

which defeats

***Stealth Assassin (when stealth succeeds)
-unless directed at someone in Stealth Vigilante mode, when you're a human-

12 hours later, orders continue to be sent in. That's fine, it's kind of like popping popcorn. When there's a longer wait between pops, it's done popping.

Just letting you guys know I am watching my inbox and going to get started on moving you on the map shortly. It was pointless to do so when I was missing dozens of orders, because if I'm missing a dozen or more dots on the map, then I have to go back and edit in new dots, over and over and over. I prefer to do it all at once. If I don't know where you are I can't roll your items either.

I have enough orders now to start the process. Yay!

For the record, Pranas, Merlox, Centurion1, Stildawn, and several zombies failed to send in orders. Pranas has been inactive for a while and I may replace him with the next person to die. Merlox is always late with his orders, but he sends them in when I prod him. I shouldn't have to do that though. Odd that Cent and Stil didn't send it in. As for the zombies, well... I made a game where you can continue playing after you die, and some don't seem to want to take advantage of that, which is a crying shame.

The zombies will have their missing counterparts covered for orders though, so yeah... it would be wise to send in your late orders before you are devoured, living people.

Remaining:

• I have several battles to roll. This will be another epic round of exciting, game-changing action. You won't want to miss this write-up.
