How did people like the role PMs? (Posts 31, 32, and 33 of the game thread)

    I really like the ones for Alyssa Martin/Diana Abnoba, Alfred Branagh/Crazed Rabbit, Claire Raval/Factionheir, El Gigante- Richard Baeur/Askthepizzaguy, Leon S. Kennedy/Wishazu, Ingrid Valentine/Warluster/Csargo, Sherry Duvall/Beefy187, Arthur Lester/Double A, Monica Guthrie/Renata, Michael Otto/Scottishranger, and Arnold Grande/Captain C.

While many of the others aren't as detailed, I gave some of the basic characters a little extra flair too. Even the most basic townie got some information that made them feel less vanilla.

    Interesting factoids.

    Some novels-

    Animal Farm 30,000 words
    Heart of Darkness 37,488 words
    Wide Sargasso Sea 43,111 words

Resident Evil: Dark Falls Game Thread, From "Prologue" to "Thank you for playing"-
    54,103 words

exactly 1/2 of my "Character Cards" text file, or the approximate average amount of text I sent out to my players per phase during the first half of the game:

    Word Count:
    38168 words
    227993 characters

I would estimate that tapers off dramatically at the end of the game, so.... multiply by 15 rounds instead of 20
572520 words sent out via PM
3419895 characters sent out via PM

626,623 words, approximately, typed and sent (or copy/pasted and sent) for the game. This doesn't include the following text files:

    Round 1
    Round 2
    .......(etc)
    Round 20
    rolled battle files per turn
    Resident Evil Role PMs
    Weapons list
    Behavior Modes
    Final Setup and role randomization
    Invite list for dark falls
    Sample Combat 1
    Sample Combat 2
    Sample Combat 3
    Sample Combat 4
    Scoring

Which amounts to several hundred more pages of vital text you didn't see.

    Finally:

War and Peace by Tolstoy: 590,233 words.

I've sent the compiled dialogue to ATPG. He's taken such a liking to dealing with masses of text that he's offered to edit this down. Crazy.

There's over 9000 words of correspondence to look forward to between me and ATPG, and that doesn't even include a few miscellaneous PMs and various MSN conversations. My finest hour was in phase 11, ATPG's can be found in the results writeup to phase 4. Well, those were the 2 biggest highlights for me. I wouldn't expect anybody to read it all, unless you were particularly curious about what I was doing; it might explain why I went lone wolf and ended up taking potshots at folk but that's all. Some very good results PMs from ATPG in there though, I imagine he'll highlight the ones he's most proud of.

Great game, a big thank you to ATPG, biggest hosting effort the Gameroom has seen so far (not that I would challenge anyone to beat it).
Thanks to everyone for playing, I had fun.

    Phase 1 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Hi ATPG
I would like to move to W-21.
I will search the area quickly, especially looking for a weapon.
If I am engaged in combat and have not found a weapon, I will run away. If I am armed, I will stand my ground until I lose half my health. I will focus my attacks at the head and torso of my opponent.

This person appears to be a member of a SWAT team or something... he's wearing protective gear. Seeing as how he won't need it anymore, perhaps you'll have better luck with it. You notice someone standing not too far away from you to the northeast, and it's Zain. He's within shouting distance if you wanted to make contact. Otherwise, you notice a bunch of small apartments nearby which look abandoned and boarded up... the street is littered with garbage, and it's a mess. Only a few of the street lamps are working properly.
Summary- you see Zain, and you also found protective gear.

    Phase 2 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Hi ATPG
I would like to thoroughly search my current position. Finding a weapon is my primary concern.
Again, if there’s combat, my actions will depend on whether I have found a weapon. If I’m unarmed, set battle mode to run away. If I have found a weapon, stand my ground until I lose half my health, then run. I will focus my attacks at the head and torso of my opponent.

You jumped out of the way as the first shot fired, and it impacted you in your body armor... the blow was glancing, but it still tore into your side and caused a surface wound. You got to your feet just as he readied another shot... hitting you in the shoulder. Another glancing blow... and lucky, with the body armor... or else you might be dead.
You are pretty pissed off right about now, and you smash the bastard in the face with your iron bar, knocking the man silly. You smash him with it again, causing a dislocated jaw. As the man runs off, he readies his weapon to fire again, and you decide now is a great time to scram as well. You both flee from the battle.
Summary- you found an iron rod, which can be very handy as a melee weapon. You sustained 2 points of vitality damage, and inflicted 3 points of vitality damage on your attacker, Zain.

    Phase 3 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Hey ATPG
I would like to move to Z-18.
I would like to adopt a defensive mode.
If there’s combat, I will run away in all instances, unless I can be certain my opponent is an unarmed zombie. I will direct my attacks at the head of this kind of enemy.

    Hey,
I would like to thoroughly search my current position.

Don't forget to click the link....
Peter Mueller took a closer look at his surroundings. He managed to kick open a window and scramble inside a building. He was just thankful to be somewhere that looked safe, hidden from view... when he noticed that he was in someone's basement apartment.
Apparently, this person was some kind of recluse. The apartment is a gigantic mess... there are pizza boxes everywhere. But besides that, there are jars of urine and toenail clippings, rats, feces, and cockroaches. Stacked high against one wall is a massive pile of newspapers, and scattered throughout the apartment there appears to be radical right-wing literature, mostly regarding the eventual apocalypse and the rise of a new world order. There are instructions on building a bomb shelter, and a detailed manifesto with plans to rule the world by force, taking from those who aren't armed, and annihilating law enforcement, while establishing a racial hierarchy. On the walls, you can see photographs of government officials, with big red X's over their faces, and a list of names next to them.
You see piles of clothing, never washed, and surveillance equipment, apparently live video feeds from cameras surrounding the apartment and the surrounding city blocks, as well as a broken radio transmitter. In the bedroom, you can see that an entire side of the wall was dedicated to holding sniper rifles, bullets, knives, and bombs. But these are all gone.
On a display mantle, underneath a large, Satanic symbol, you see a long metal object covered by a cloth. With some hesitation, you uncover what is hidden.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Gatling gun
Damage: 2 vitality point per bullet impact.
Speed: 5 bullet per combat round.
Reload: Can fire 100 rounds before reloading (useless during the next 45 minutes)
Opponent gains 2 luck due to inaccuracy.
    -2 speed
Please note the weapon reduces your speed, and therefore your movement distance per phase. Your card has been updated to reflect this.

With some surprise, you note that the weapon is fully loaded. I think you found what you came for. Enjoy.

    Phase 5 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Hey,
I’d like to move to W-16 in the vigilante stance.
Against unarmed non-human enemies (basically, standard unarmed zombies), I will stand my ground and attack with the iron bar, focusing my attacks at the head.
If I encounter a larger non-human enemy (like the tentacle thing or any other nice surprises you’ve got in store for us), I will fight for one round of combat before running away. I will use the gatling gun and focus my fire at the main body mass of the target for maximum accuracy.
If I am attacked by another human (or human-like thing), I will fight for one round before running away. Again, I will attack with the gatling gun and focus my fire at the torso.
Cheers ATPG, hope all this is clear

Gatling gun at the ready, Peter proceeds... but nothing comes. You appear to be in an abandoned part of the city. Where is everyone?

    Phase 6 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I would like to thoroughly search my current position. Emphasis is on finding some herbs or other healing items.
If I am engaged in combat, by an unarmed *standard* zombie (not the tentacle thing) or human, I will attack with the iron bar and stand my ground until I am down to my last vitality point (run away once this point has been reached).
If I am attacked by an armed human or highly-dangerous non-human, I will attack with the gatling gun, focusing my fire at the torso of my opponent to maximise accuracy. Again, I will stand my ground until my last vitality point before running away.

    RESULTS-
Peter Mueller searched around the apartment complex, and when he got to the roof, he noticed that there was a man, apparently mauled to death, wielding a sniper rifle. He was wearing a trenchcoat, painted with a big, red pentagram. You also found some of the same sort of literature on his person as you found before in the basement apartment. It appears this radical met his end attempting to kill as many zombies as possible... there are several bodies strewn about with their brains blown apart... clearly in a zombie state before they died. You don't agree with the man's ideals, but you certainly appreciate the weaponry, and the fact that there are fewer zombies roaming around.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    GOLDEN Dragunov Sniper rifle
Damage: 5 vitality point per combat round.
Speed: 1 bullet per combat round.
Reload: Can fire 12 rounds before reloading (useless during the next 15 minutes)
Can hit anything in your awareness radius; is a sniper weapon.

    Phase 7 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I would like to move to U-13 (from W-16) in the vigilante mode. I would like to set up a sniping hideout. I am looking for a top-floor/rooftop position with a good view of the surrounding area. The main priority is covering my back by ensuring my position has only one entry point which will be used as a choke-point if I am forced into close-quarter combat. If both a penthouse and rooftop are available, I’d like to choose the one with the better choke-point, not the better view.
As for the chokepoint, I’d like to use something large to block the door such as a wardrobe or couch. This will prevent me from being sneaked up on, giving time to equip the gatling gun and prepare for combat. So, I’d like to choose a hideout with only one entry point, preferably so narrow that only one man/zombie can fit through at a time. I’d then like to block this entry point with whatever’s available. My obstruction should serve, firstly, as a warning bell to me but also be capable of hopefully holding off any encroaching attackers.
If I am attacked in my hideout, I will stand my ground and attack with the gatling gun, using the chokepoint to force my opponent(s) into an easy firing line while keeping myself (relatively) safe from them. If I’m in such a lengthy battle that I ‘run out’ for this weapon, I will switch to the Dragunov. The hideout is the location for the last stand
If I am attacked before making it to and constructing my hideout, I will stand my ground against unarmed, *standard* enemies and, if there's one enemy, use the iron bar as my primary weapon. If I'm attacked by a group, let rip with the gatling gun.
If I am attacked (before constructing hideout) by another human or plague demon, I will stand my ground until reaching my last vitality point when I will run away. I will use the gatling gun to fight this opponent and focus my attacks at the torso to maximise accuracy.

Peter Mueller, you aimed your Golden Dragunov and fired at your target. Unfortunately, you missed. You did notice that the target scampered north, in a sort of... strange fashion. It is now hiding, and you can't see it.
You spot someone else in S12, and someone fleeing north from the church, wounded, in W13.

You also see that your target from last round has ended up in V12; it is Splitpersonality.
You noticed that 3 people moved past you and ended up in S12. You heard gunfire and an explosion in that direction.

You took aim at Splitpersonality and fired. The bullet impacted him in the back, causing a massive exit wound in his chest. (5 vitality points of damage) Through your scope, you can see that the man is still moving, in fact running as if nothing happened. There doesn't seem to be much blood escaping from the wound.
Something is not right with that one. He moved north, toward the subway station. You might consider chasing down and finishing off that thing you shot.
You notice that someone is moving south, alone, located in W13.

    Phase 11 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I would like to move to R-14 in the vigilante mode. Assuming I am not involved in combat, I would like to find a vantage point and take up a position there, to increase my awareness rating (like I had before with the sniper den but this will only be a temporary home) so there’s no real need to barricade myself in unless it would be easy and immediately convenient to do so.
If I am in combat with an unarmed ‘standard’ zombies, I will stand my ground. Against a single opponent, I will use the iron bar and focus my attacks at the head and torso. Against a group of ‘standard’ zombies, I will stand my ground and fight with the gatling gun, focusing my fire at the torso of my opponents to maximise accuracy.
If I find myself in combat against another human/armed zombie/plague demon/other ‘advanced’ zombies, I will stand my ground and attack with the gatling gun, focusing my fire at the torso again. I will run away if/when I lose a vitality point. Would prefer to run away towards the police station.

After the search, I’d like to take up a rooftop position. If I can engineer a chokepoint similar to what I had before, using gurneys/machines/whatever as a barricade on the single entry point to my room, that’d be ideal. So yeah, a room with one (narrow) entry point and a good view of the surrounding area. Cheers ATPG.

If this needs reloading, switch to Dragunov next. Iron bar last resort.
Against an armed opponent or group of armed opponents, I will stand my ground and use the gatling gun.
I will aim for the general body (torso level) of enemies to maximise accuracy. If I am attacked to my last vitality point, run away, in all cases.

Then Craterus got swarmed and Peter Mueller was no more.

WOW! I really am quite surprised I achieved top individual score in this most excellent game. Well done ATPG, I look forward to the sequel.

I have to admit that I don't feel like I personally played a great game. I wasted a few phases in the police station early trying to coop with people who then disappeared *grumbles*. Also after the first few rounds the Town started dropping like flies and I was nowhere near the action and completely unable to assist. My first stroke of luck was finding my trusty Cold Steel Dragonfly then my second would have to be bumping into Jooray and Greyblades who unwisely openly admitted to being umbrella in pm. My 2 biggest regrets with how the game went for me would be 1) Not being able to stop the SynTech team, I knew what they were up to for ages and even had detailed intel from Csargo telling me where they were and where they were headed. That was actually how I managed to get ahead of them at the Tank Yard. In the end I didn't want to risk the lives of my fellow Townies fighting them. 2) Killing Frozen In Ice, I hated doing this but he kinda forced my hand. Telling me he was going to take the tank regardless as he wanted to escape. I just couldnt risk him turning Omega inside the tank, that happened once before and ended badly for my allies Tibilicus and Rob_the_Celt.

Sorry Tib and sorry Rob, I couldn't save you after all. :(

Now, on a lighter note. I did really enjoy playing this game. My overall favourite moment was probably slaughtering the 6 zombies in the Police Station after they ambushed me, when I first got the result pm I only read the first line before convincing myself I was dead and out of the game. However, by the end of it I was cheering Leons epicness lol.

I would like to apologise to ATPG for my constant pm's asking questions about certain aspects of the game. I'm sure I must of got on his nerves haha.

I also want to thank ATPG for hosting this game and inviting me to play. Without his invite I would never even have heard of Dark Falls. I don't usually visit the Gameroom but It is now my first port of call when logging in.

I also would like to thank ATPG for giving me the fantastic role of Leon Kennedy even if I didn't feel like I was living up to his reputation from the computer games. Hopefully Leon will be back in the sequel and ready to take the fight to SynTech.

Wow, I got three awards just for telling Renata where the exit was. Good job I kept pestering her to give me that radio.

My only regret is that I died searching for Renata's stash of weapons and equipment in the wrong place (I thought it was in the Subway Station, but it turned out to be in the Tunnel). I didn't trust the 'STARS' guys, but I figured they might keep me alive long enough to make a break for the bridge. Before I could do that, though, I needed to get my hands on a grappling hook, of which I knew Renata and co had left a couple behind. Ah well...

My most memorable moment was unquestionably the part where I soiled my underwear whilst running away from El Gigante. That was also the turning point in my game, since I ran off in exactly the opposite direction to that which I intended, ending up at the Subway Station, and finding myself caught up in events way above my pay grade. Beginning with my first zombie encounter, where I fought alongside Wishazu and the two Umbrella guys (who Wish would subsequently slice and dice), over the following turns I was a witness (and minor contributor) to what would turn out to be some of the defining moments of the game, culminating in the Mother of All Battles, where my luck finally ran out.

Anyhow, I have to say a huge thank you to ATPG for hosting this incredible game.

Incredibly awesome fantastically well-hosted game ATPG! You outdid yourself on this one. Have to say I wasn't exactly thrilled with my starting situation (bottom left corner against two walls, Plague Demon to my East two tiles away, and no weapons/items to speak of) but someone's gotta get shafted in a game this complex and expansive. That said I'm thrilled to have scored as high as I did and to have won seven (seven!) awards is pretty, uhm, rewarding to say the least (I won the chainsaw award but I wasn't listed on the main reward page a few posts above this one). Now seeing exactly how well Factionheir did as an Umbrella Op, I have to say killing him is definitely my biggest accomplishment. It would have been nice however to go up against the occupants of the Tank like I had been planning. I'm a bit disappointed I couldn't get in position quick enough to get the drop on them - it would have been a nice battle... Anyway, once again this game was very enjoyable to play and if a sequel shows up a few weeks from now ( ) count me among those signing up. As long as I don't die first again...

For some awards, basically half of the people managed to be awarded the prize. Like the green herb, for example.... if you participated and interacted positively with your team, green herb. But some performed above and beyond. So what I did was I hand picked the very best out of every category, the best of the best, and I offered the main badge to them personally.

You did well aggressively, but didn't manage to attack quite as many people as the others did. Still, enough to earn the points anyway. Same points as them.

I believe if you had been there with White_Eyes' group, the zombies would have won. Leon was down to 1 vp after nearly getting his butt kicked by White_eyes/Yuri and the 2 combat s/he had. White_eyes finally got in a couple of lucky strikes.

And yes, I made it so if you die early, that just means you get a head start on trying to destroy the living over and over again with your constant resurrection and insatiable hunger. As you can see, being an active zombie is a great way to score points. It's like being a serial killer, but with tons of backup.

I guess that's why its luck. My luck of 5 helped me win- without it, I would have died on the third phase.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

Phase 14: After killing the third Plague Tyrant, and deciding to move East to the bridge

Phase 15: After moving East and finding a group of townies

Phase 15: Private planning with the townies on what to do to the mercenaries

I was a little surprised that you ALL didn't attack(I think if TheFlax would have backed you up...I would have been sliced and diced)

You even knew I had a bad combat score...which was crippling for me at that time...I guess 13 speed with a sword made you guys nervous

Suprisingly us Syntech never set up a qt we talked only in pm messages here are some of the important messages that I have left.

Here is us discussing killing of the townies at the subway station

That includes the townies, but we'll be saying that since we're searching for a person, that they'll move in vigilante mode. We'll then get the hangar key and omega, or kill the one(s) who get it instead of us. We're known by khaan to have radio contact, so splitting us up makes a better search since we can be the contact link between the two teams. Three teams for optimal search can be a problem, since if the third team find it, it'll get messy.

Alternative is moving whole group to E3, while one of us move to E5 to help Psycho clear the zombies and protect against a possible other group, since they know your location.

Well, I'm still at E5 and there are two Zombies to kill. I'll probably shotgun them this round, although more bullets may be better, aka Skorpion or FactionHeir's pistols. Hopefully the write-up will do enough to show me attempting to attack FactionHeir, that should clear me.
You should be seen by Blackadder at E5. Another townie, Winston Hughes, was here and saw the zombie horde (we're 8 people here, 6 allied us included). That should give your identity through the writeup. We could push for meeting you. Your publically mentioned hostility to FH should be enough.

Your choise, it was close to your real starting position) and then you also found the note about the helicopter. Since you were close to the entrance you took that way and expected to run into townies to save on the way back. The funny thing about this partial truth is that it feels a bit improbably lucky. I mean FactionHeir was the first person you actually met. Us mentioning you will probably blow our cover.

Alternativly, you can pretend to be our missing female scientist and hope that none ask ATPG for a closer look on you. That will break after seeing you in combat though, so will probably not work. I specifically didn't name you as our scientist in case you died, as that would've blown our cover.

Hmmm. I don't think it is necessary to say that I found the helicopter memo, only the Biolab key. If it comes up you could tell them about the beacon, and say I was your contact if you needed assistance? Perhaps my cover could be that I am an elite STARS agent and that chasing down FactionHeir was my mission. That I had intercepted some radio messages and was attempting to ambush him at the Biolab. My weaponry should go some way to suggest a more formidable character. It may be best not to bring it up, until they do first.
Elite STARS member is probably best. Since CR is dead, our real equivalent is missing and not impossible for true STARS members to have it (you are also needed to kill serial killers or something). We'll confirm you, but not know you from before.

I have a few more of these to write before I black out. Sorry I can't go into further detail....
I'll check with APTG for the quickest route. The heli or the bridge.
My guess is that the helicopter would be faster, but it is a good back-up option if we need it.
There wasn't much time difference, but bridge is out when we have the sample. Won't pass the quarantine. Our main evacuation might not be the helicopter, since ATPG i very clear that we'll know it when we get the sample, even when I been saying that I know about the key. We'll still keep to the plan though.

Alternative seach pattern. 3 townie groups. E5 (Psycho), E3 and H3 (me and Blackadder). Downside is that we won't meet up and that you'll be an unknown factor for that group Psycho, so they might not be as informative as you can hope. Pro is that key and omega will be found on turn "2" and we'll know for certain who has it. Threaten or attack on turn "3" to get what we need. That will give everyone back at the Subway station on turn "3". Us 3 in berserk will kill about anything in one round so.

One reason why I prefer threaten, 8 killed townies is mean... And while it's a set back for them to lose the hangar key, they got an alternative now. Wasn't the only one who found that note. Still we'll see what's needed.

I suspect that we''ll end up with H3 uncovered (3 squares out of the biolab's 18), a small risk, but existing.

    Captain Blackadder, are you active?

Awesome game Pizza to have carried out such an effort with so much quality - hats off to you . I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Stealth: 4
    Awareness: 4
    Luck: 4 +1

You have 28 allocatable points to spend on your character. If you do not distribute these points, they will be arranged in the default fashion: 4 in each category, as you see here. You add 1 point to your luck, combat, and vitality stats as well, which helps. You cannot move those extra points around.

You also have an additional ability: You can "DEFEND" as an action. Any attacks directed toward the people in your group you're defending, except for sniper bullets (which you couldn't detect), will be directed toward you instead. Anyone on the same grid coordinate is protected by you.

    Back story:

You are Cindy Bailey, a woman who once served in the United States Army. You want to help people, and now is your chance. Your objective is to get yourself and your fellow townspeople out of Dark Falls alive.

Your personal survival is your objective, but this is a team game. The more townies survive, the better your overall score. However, your personal score drops when you die.

Your best bet after that, if you become a zombie, is to go for a zombie victory and hope for the best. You have the ability to defend anyone who shares your grid location, because you have the necessary skills and reflexes.

    Completing your mission:

You're not done until you personally escape from town. Take note that the town is surrounded by a massive stone wall with barbed wire on top of it, mountains to the north, a river to the south, and minefields, zombies, and rabid dogs.

There are only a few viable paths out of town, and they are hidden. The information to find those paths is scattered around town... contacting your fellow townspeople, working together, is the best way to gain enough knowledge to escape. There are locked doors, barricades in your way, and you'll need a certain key if you wish to escape the main way. There's also plenty of zombies, serial killers, plague demons, and murderous agents around town.

    Goals:

    1. Get out alive.

    2. Destroy as many hostile forces as possible. Each hostile counts as a goal.

    Hostiles include:

    A) Las Plagas Creatures
    B) Umbrella agents and mercenaries
    C) SynTech agents and mercenaries
    D) Serial Killers
    E) El Gigante
    F) Zombies

Saving yourself is more important than hunting down the enemy. But rest assured, the more hostile forces you destroy, the more townspeople will escape from this crazy mess, and the better your personal score at the end.

    Scoring:

Based on Host's appraisal of how many of your goals are completed
and how much effort you put into it.

    Decisive victory
    Overwhelming victory
    Major victory
    Minor victory
    Marginal victory
    Draw
    Marginal defeat
    Minor defeat
    Major defeat
    Overwhelming defeat
    Decisive defeat

    Special Abilities:

You have the additional ability to "DEFEND" anyone who is standing in the same grid square as you, unless you tell me specifically that you do not wish to do so. This ability is automatic, and you do not need to do anything in order for it to take effect.

You do need to tell me, every single round, if you wish to not use this ability.

Why would you wish not to use it? Because if someone tries to use a "sniper" action against the person you're defending, it will hit you instead. Otherwise, there are no real negatives when using this ability.

You stop defending people when you run from battle. So if they stand their ground, the protection is no longer in effect. However, it is still in effect during that first round, or during first strikes, as you haven't run from battle yet. So you can run from battle and still be useful as a defender.

You automatically start protecting again in the next action phase.

    Allies:

You have no allies at the start of the game.

Technically, all the townsfolk in the game are your allies, but you don't know which of them have been compromised by the Omega virus, and some of them are hostile to other townsfolk. In order to truly ally with them, you have to engage in "cooperation" mode and have them do the same, while standing next to each other.

Please remember not to contact anyone during the game unless they are standing next to you on the map, adjacent to you on the map, or you both have a two-way communications device. You're not telepathic, and this hindrance to your efforts is part of the balance and fairness of the game. Please keep it in mind.

    Further information:

I will soon be sending out your character card, which will give your location, current status, and any weapons or items you start with, as well as other pertinent details. The character card will be updated to reflect the events of every round of play. However your role PM can and should be saved and used as a reference about your character and your mission.

    stats i chose:

    Strength: 1
    Combat: 8 +1
    Vitality: 8 +1
    Speed: 3
    Stealth: 1
    Awareness: 1
    Luck: 6 +1

    LOCATION- C-19

You see no one within range.

No one automatically starts off detecting weapons, so none appear on your awareness range presently.

Here's a map for your convenience:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    AWARENESS:

You see no one within range.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The white x represents the square you are in. You are aware of things which happen inside your awareness zone... perhaps not fully, but you have some data.

    Zone of control:

Nothing inside your Zone of control.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
People inside your zone of control are susceptible to being targeted on the next round before they can even move! It costs your own movement to do this, however, and you can only target one player.

For the purposes of "sniper" actions, anyone inside your AWARENESS RADIUS is considered inside your zone of control.

    MOVEMENT:

Your movement is presently limited. You cannot move into the river or into the mountains, or past the solid walls which constitutes the barrier surrounding the town. Your options for where to move are limited to the playing area squares. There is a way inside the research lab, but you can't scale the large circular wall surrounding it.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The white x represents the square you are in. You may move anywhere inside the green zone, unless that exceeds the playing area.

MISSION: -This describes your character and his/her objectives

    1. Escape from Dark Falls alive
    2. Killing any hostiles will boost your score

    ITEMS:

None at present. You will have to search for some.

    WEAPONS:

None at present. You will have to search for some.

    Any questions? PM me.

As you can see, being Town Defender did give me additional 3 points but i also directed a few attacks my way by defending my official and unofficial allies. But i was not strong enough to stay back and help more people.

I did find it amusing that one time against Khazaar when Pizza jabbed you in the write up: "if she'd been doing her job" -- hee. But it worked out well for us in the end, didn't it?

yes...that was immediately after we met and i was not sure if i should trust you. Also i had been reduced to low vitality level by Khazaar during the previous round.
I had nothing to restore vitality and one more hit would result in death.
I used my only medical kit when i was defending Tibilicus (my ally) and got hit by El Gigante.

Although pretty late, I also wanted to thank Atpg for this amazing game, I had a blast. Thank you so very much for your effort.

I'm very happy to have made it out of the town after all and I thank my sisters for the fun time I had as my second character. Also thank you Wishazu for rescuing us. (Although, I'm also sad we weren't able to prove that we were capable on our own. )

Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed at how my run as Umbrella merc went. First we were hit hard with replacements for members of our team, making us look for cover in a townie group. But then Grey kinda freaks and tells Wish about us being Umbrella mercs. I was a bit mad when that got me killed, I must say.
But as I said, the second role made up for it. Especially because it looked like I was going to die instantly as poor Ashley was almost out of vit. (Good thing I met the other angels )

I knew you would be upset Jooray when I killed you as it was Greyblades that revealed. However I doubt you were as annoyed as he was lol.

Anyways, ATPG, thanks for posting those Zombie QT`s and giving me the opportunity for a Sig update. :)
