    Default Better AI movement

Ok im using EB with alex and iv stil never seen casse move from the british isles into mainland europe and iv never seen the romans expand onto sardin or the other island. Also carthage use its full potential of naval might, well you all know what im getting at.

Has any1 had a better AI expansive experience or will things like this never be possible? i mean can the romans if AI even reform if they dont take sardin an that other island? I want the best campaign experience, its just not happening :(

I've seen the AI do things, especially if you give it time.. BUT it does become very hard for the AI when it has to use ships to do those "things" and it just depends. Even in vanilla RTW, I've seen "casse" take over 20 territories..

What mod are you playing? Or is it that you did the minimum to enable alex.exe play?

Imo, the following "mod" is almost perfect:

For installation process, I followed the following: RTW Gold > Alexander > EB 1.1 > 1.2 > Official Fixes > 1.2 Mini Mod Pack 3.1 > LZ3's Custom EB Fix Adaptation > Phalanx Mod > RS Textures > Naval Strat Map Add On > Lysander's Sihunet Formations Adaptations > EOM 4 Carthaginian Governors Edition > Atraphoenix' RS Legions Adaptation For ALEXANDER EB > Getting Rid Of The Giant Trees Mod > (I've also modded the Roman reforms to happen sooner, deleted 7 files/folders to get rid of window lights and torches for night battles, and added 3 SKYMOD_BI .txt files for night lighting.) - The only thing missing is a 12 turns per year mod, maybe 6 tpy instead.

im using EB with alex, its better AI battles but where ships are used its basic movements not long voyges or movements that are based on good strategy, is their no other mods besides BI and alex that work better or rival them?

It could be that the AI is not able to use ships because of strong pirate fleets, espacially at the beginning of a campaign. I ususally notice some strong pirate boats but almost no faction fleets. In most campaigns it is also hard for me to ship my troops to other coasts, the pirate ships are hunting my poor boats after leaving the ports.
Take are look on the map, there are usually very few faction fleets.

I also like the one isolated Hayasdan province.
"You must know, then, that there are two methods of fight, the one by law, the other by force: the first method is that of men, the second of beasts; but as the first method is often insufficient, one must have recourse to the second. It is therefore necessary for a prince to know well how to use both the beast and the man.

Ahh now I see, it's sad that the FM is unable to take the settlement.

If u look carefully, the carthies often ship troops to and from Iberia. It's all done in a single turn tho, so it's hard to spot unless there's a specific FM tagging along. The opposite happens when The Luso (a lot rarer) takes Mastia/Tolosa. They try to grab Carthie island holdings, then (futile attempts at) africa. Similar things happen to the Epiros(Pyrrhos goes back for another go), KH (island hopping) and Ptolemaios (Cyprus).
