Ensure there are no other "setup.exe" files on your desktop. For some reason the patch extracts all files to "C:\Documents and Settings\Asai\Local Settings\Temp" and then tries to run the closest local setup.exe file. I had a "setup.exe" on my desktop for a hex editor program and the patch tried to run that instead of the proper "setup.exe". I would guess that you have the FRAPS' "setup.exe" on your desktop?

Ok try this. After double clicking the icon and when you are at the screen where it asks you to unzip the patch

Unzip to "C:\warlordpatch" or similar. Uncheck that one box as shown in the image. One is has unzipped the files click ok and then cloe the main "unzip" window.

Next open windows explorer and browse to "C:\warlordpatch", or wherever you installed it and run "setup.exe" as shown

When the patch is installed the correct version number will display in the top left of the main menu ingame as shown
