    Default Suggestion: Change units for Romani

    For me, it's always been annoying to change all my men every time which change the military reform.
    After months of battles I find myself having to send away all my veteran legions to alter its military reform.
    I wish this thing would change in EB2.
    I would like to keep my veterans through military reforms.
    Of course, using the different skins of armour upgrade.
    So we can be grouped 2 or 3 or 4 units into one.
    Only need the units are similar to each other.
    In this way:

    leves -> roman skirmishers
    rorarii -> roman skirmishers upg 1
    velites -> roman skirmishers upg 2

    accensi -> roman infantry
    camillan hastati -> roman infantry upg 1
    polybian hastati -> roman infantry upg 2

    camillan principes -> roman heavy infantry
    polybian principes -> roman heavy infantry upg 1
    post-marian cohortes -> roman heavy infantry upg 2
    imperial cohortes -> roman heavy infantry upg 3

    camillan triarii -> camillan triarii

    polybian triarii -> polybian triarii

    praetoria cohortes -> praetoria cohortes

    Than 6 units instead of 13.

    But it's possible to give a great bonus for the upgrade? For example increase the throw of javelin? Or others weapons?

    Yeah, I know that you can change armour values rather greatly, but not the attack status... but maybe getting a +1 experience will do, but 1 attack only? how can.....

    Not possible. You can't upgrade units, as in other strategy games.

    Besides, it more accurately reflects experience than upgrades would, otherwise you would have by AD 14 an army full of Gold Chevron'd Soldiers who were actually the immortal soldiers you'd started off with in 272 BC.

    Its not possible. All units would need to use the same weapon and would have the same stats as their earlier brethren. Additonally, not being able to upgrade your units is far more historical. In any transition period you will have armies that utilise both systems, or have the same government use armies, some of whom use the old-fashioned troops, some using the new ones.
