Is that...a figurine of Napoleon I see there?!?
"You must know, then, that there are two methods of fight, the one by law, the other by force: the first method is that of men, the second of beasts; but as the first method is often insufficient, one must have recourse to the second. It is therefore necessary for a prince to know well how to use both the beast and the man.

Indeed, I like the idea of Napoleon's field journal as well as that little statuette, hopefully it will be available in the US, does anyone think they will get this edition?

I was just about to open a thread about this.

I'm definitely getting this, no matter what. I'm right now going through my phonebook see who's living in Australia to pick me up a copy and send it over... I'm really "desperate" to get this edition, it looks amazing.

It says the campaign in this edition goes right through to Waterloo. If that can be verified, then I'll definitely be getting it... but surely it wouldn't really be exclusive to one shop?

In Napoleon: Total War, aspiring generals have the chance to play as the legendary French general Napoleon Bonaparte or as one of his opposing factions. Battling through his three biggest military campaigns, the game will take you through Italy and Egypt, narrating the early years of the fearsome commander, while the third campaign will tell the story of his fateful drive towards Moscow and, ultimately, his showdown with the Duke of Wellington at one of the most famous battles of all – The Battle of Waterloo.
    Regardless of version.

    Pleasure doing business.

I honestly do not understand why the Emperor Edition is solely available to Australia. If they sell it in Europe they can get much more cash and even with that hefty price (almost 100 US dollars!) they would still sell a lot of those editions.

    EB are like that.

Often you can find it cheaper, but if its special stuff you want, only place in Australia to get it.

For the amount of stuff shoved in that Collector's Box, I'd give 100 dollars without any question.\
I just hope the game will live up to the standards.

Don't worry, ETW lowered that bar quite significantly.

AT LEAST M2TW standards... Since they made a fool of ETW and everyone complained, and N:TW is such a massive preorder hit, I'd say the bar has been raised.
