I was so, so close to gettting it right on you, scottishranger; YLC can vouch for that. I just grabbed the stick at the wrong end, figured you as a possible "Nyx cultist" rather than as Nyx himself. Ultimately, as you among others can attest, I decided to share almost everything I knew with almost everyone and see where things landed.

How did the Chthonic monsters work? Did the ghosts involved know what had happened?

I can't believe Khazaar had ghost council access. I seem to recall a certain someone saying the host had said that would of course be majorly unbalanced ...

White_eyes, it was a pleasure, most of the time.

Yes, if anyone but Khazaar had access to it - Andres and Sasaki would not be allowed to view it, and Khazaar could only vaguely describe what he had read. I was very careful in allowing Khazaar to utilize the Ghost Council QK.

Cthonic Monsters were converted Ghosts, who retained their other abilities in addition to having a 25% chance of either inducing madness in their target (scottish gained control of their vote) or outright killing someone. They could not be converted to any other alignment.

Certain roles would make better Cthonic Monsters, specifically other Psychics, including you

Oh -- what would have happened with Double A if I'd resurrected myself? One of the reasons I did not was because I didn't want to lose his investigations.

Double A would have indeed lost his abilities - I designed it as a moral choice for you. Either let Double A's character suffer and gain possible game breaking information, or come back, remove any chance he could go rogue, but suffer in your chances to find the mafia.

And even if you tried to metagame it by coming back and dying, you could never actually erase Double A's path towards serial killerishness.

ah...too bad the game had to end this way. The best thing about the game was the writeups and the complexity. thoroughly enjoyed it the fact that we have to find ourselves an apprentice looked difficult to begin with. I thought i will convert Beskar (since it was common knowledge he started as townie) and then ask him to become my apprentice. Fact that he was protected by Jolt the first 2 nights got me nowhere.

as told already, i was the town priest and TheFlax was my apprentice who was now free to work on his own. I was going to ask Greyblades to be my next apprentice

I had a lot of discussions with Renata trying to figure what was happening and she obvious had more information to give me. We were trying to find the Irish doctor (Jolt). Discounted Beskar's theory about Andres being the doctor that saved him was discounted. We thought Sevis could be the doctor...but no. Our next actions were to convert Beskar and Seon back to townies if their alignment had changed.

@ White_eyes: if you are talking abt me being non co-operative... initiating communication with a "spill everything you know or i will force it out of you" PM is not going to get much co-operation...atleast from me

    I was doomed anyway

besides, I got what I wanted out of Renata

Me and my "Buffing" really got me much farther then I should have...

CDF signed me and Renata's death warrant by giving Andres our role names...(That sore loser)

Beskar was already telling Andres who you were and you likely would have died this night or the one after....(I figured you might also be "Nxy" and Beskar just said...."IDK Kill'em all")

Wait, I was going on the path towards genocide even though my orders were protect and investigate?

    Wut?

And in the next game in this series, you should definitely keep the GC. And knowing the mafia godfather was kinda cool, like you know who the head honcho is but don't know how you're going to take him out until you get there. Next time, have more fights between me and Khazzar, I have a good idea as to why you cut the fight, but that would have made the game for me right there.

No kidding....I wonder why we never had any powers beyond recruiting(gods should only have been lynchable, since it was just a Human Vessel)
    Even Khazzer was Night-kill immune

And they even had access to the "Ghost Council"?

    A little too unbalanced much?

YLC loves giving me the hard roles It was super-fun even though I was lynching Mafia half the time....

Not enough killers to initially threaten you - you were originally intended to be semi- night kill immune but that got trashed when to few players showed up.

As for Khazaar's access to the Ghost Council - had to make up for the loss of Morpheus some how...

There was no way I could have won....."Nxy" was like my primary enemy and I was being sold out by my own "Cultists"

Should have been something in place to hit the "psychics", I really don't think I had much of a chance with this....sad to know I was going to die from the outset...

Edit:How did CDF get a "Fanatic"?

    Good game YLC

I was fooling around most of the time, but I had fun.
Even though I never killed anyone and wasn't working for Andres
