Another Problem...Help Please?

Hey all. I really like the community you guys got going on here at the .Org. I have played Shogun since it first came out and now I bought the Gold Edition again because I lost my original CD key. Anyways, my problem is when I try and start a new Campaign. I pick my settings, and my starting clan and on the loading screen with the red background and gold samurai mask, it just freezes and crashes to the desktop. It doesn't do that with the training battles or any other quick battle. Just campaigns. If anyone knows how to figure this out, I'd be indebted for you as long as I play Shogun. I have been wanting to play it for a while now and I got so excited after the dl and install but now I'm worried maybe I just can't play it anymore. But I've been reading some of your stickies(especially how Santi saved the day on his first post! Amazing!) and after seeing them, I have hope someone knows what the problem is.
