Now, about the 3 kids issue, video games are not that random; if you reset the RNG (random number generator), you'll produce different results. So save your game in winter, send one or two spies or assassins (whether they succeed, fail or die trying is irrelevant) and end your turn. Rinse and repeat until you're satisfied.

One last word; the number of family members is directly linked to your number of provinces, so "cheating" with the RNG might not affect that. It's quite convinient for the coming of age of new FMs though, it saves you from "Son, you shall be called Disappointment #3"...

Of course, roleplaying "Disappointmentus Maximus" can be quite fun too. That's about the time my FMs become fathers that they start getting traits like "gloomy", "likes a drink", "under the weather" and "evil mother in law". Anyone noticed this ?
Did I catch that right? Save during winter, send two spies to a foreign town and play the whole next year waiting for results?

As for the provinces, I still get children. I already had a Caesar daughter at the first try.
As for roleplaying, yes I do that. But I cant ignore the fact that I will continue playing other mods during the future time line, and caesar simply had a huge effect on the world. He can be dull and all, but he should be charismatic in my eyes. Everything else will be roleplayed. If he likes a drink, boys or money, thats up to the game and will be reflected in my AAR.
