    Default March of Time

Where is the March of Time trigger? I want to have my Casse bodyguards change after a while like the Baktrian guards and AFAIK the only way is through MOT.

I don't have EB installed at the moment, so I can't check. But from memory the casse do not get a bodyguard upgrade.

Casse only have one type of bodyguards.... of course they don't get reformed bodyguards.

Kassiteros chariots are wonderful, use them right and they'll chew through Romans like a hot knife through butter. I just created Arche Kassiteros using them last night (at the expense of them horrible horrible romans of course). Rule Britannia!

EB's MoT is vanilla's Marian reforms. In order to designate a unit as the post-reform bodyguards you need to edit export_descr_units.txt (EDU). Find the unit's entry in the EDU and then add upgraded_general_unit* to the attributes line.

*I am not 100% sure that this is the correct tag, BTW. Search for another upgraded bodyguard unit, and check their attributes line to find the correct one. Also keep in mind that the A.I. apparently does not recruit units tagged as generals, and that you have to pay the unit upkeep in addition to the 200 mnai wages per family member; hence all EB bodyguard units have zero upkeep.

Don't forget to make a back-up of the EDU file before you start modding, and make sure you edit the correct EDU file.
