NTW campaign map

Map looks like ETW with new menu. I don't like these provinces... Units Cards are ugly...

I am not seeing arrows to American and Indian map. In NTW will be only Europe map? If Yes it will be horrible.

Where is Turkey?!? It is horrible! WTF?!?

In this map won't be impossible colonial conquest and sea battles without sense.

It is the worst map of Total War series.

I like the main map (Europe campaign, third of the set). It goes from Portugal to (I am guessing) Moscow, which is what is required to cover the main campaigns. Thank goodness there is no America or India. No serious wargame of the Napoleonic wars would include them, especially if the scale is one turn to two weeks. They would slow the game down to crawl, mess up the AI and be totally irrelevant to playing or beating the Corsican ogre. For the colonial stuff, we already have ETW. For Napoleon, I am looking for a deeper simulation of continental warfare, where France cannot be taken out by capturing two cities.

The Italian and Egyptian campaign maps look decent too - I guess they will be more substantial campaigns than the Road to Independence campaign.

America should be in game. During 1812-15 was American-British War....
Ottomans should be in grand Campaign.

I know! Now we can't play out the "What if Napoleon had held onto the Louisiana Territory" And there's no Haitian revolt, and we can't use the Americans to pester the British while we rampage in Europe.

I think at this stage, France/Britain's colonial holdings were just far too important to be left out of the main campaign.

thanks for the screens, it looks interesting, the main interface does look quite plain, considering its no where near done it could go through one or 2 more iterations.

On all this critique of a game that hasn't been released yet... I tend to agree with econ 21, it would be nice to concentrate on europe this time round, and see if they can get the battle and campaign AI right. if all goes to plan then they can think about expanding it more.

Given that the whole reason why Napoléon invaded Egypt was to reach India more easily, all these maps are retard.

No india, no north-america = mistake.
