Default Jennette McCurdy v Miley Cyrus

Hi, I was surfing the net and I got this impression that Jennette McCurdy is a better singer and role model than Miley Cyrus, but Miley is still far more popular. THat's why I started a survey to ask the public how they think of these two. Go to my poll and vote

My favourite singer is the local hermit. Got a great voice. Writes his own hymns. He used to have a guitar, but he ate it.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

If I may say so myself, that's a goddamned awful choice in music to choose. I mean, I'll grant that there ain't a whole lotta female singers I like, and only one of them is a lead singer. And boy is she ugly. She's still one of my favorites, though.

But anyhow... you got to be able to find something better than the modern pop machine. That stuff's the musical equivalent of spam (the reconstituted meat, not the internetz.)

Be nice now, he seems like a pretty young one.

I picked Miley, cuz she is cuter and did that thing with the stripper pole, which all yound women should aspire to for the common good of mankind.

McCurdy looks like a cabbage patch head dipped in canola oil.

Dude, you keep saying how you don't want to come off as a huge music snob, but it's not working real well.

Thumbs up Re: Jennette McCurdy v Miley Cyrus

Gangsta Boo was a pretty good rapper in her early days (she did really good in "Tear Da Club Up").

Janis Joplin ftw! But what about Grace Slick, or Lydia Pense? I really dig those women too!

Is it just me, or did Grace only sing a handful of tracks with Jefferson Airplane? Most seemed to be sung by a male of some sort - argh, his name escapes me....
    ... nevermind.

I love hundreds of female singers and female fronted bands. Though none of them are really this "modern pop machine" that Reverend Joe refers to. I'd have to base my vote entirely on looks - in which case, Miley would get my vote.

Possibly my favourite female artist of all time is quoted in my sig.

You're thinking of Marty Balin (The guy who got punched in the face by the Hell's Angels at Altamont Speedway). Their guitarist Jorma Kaukonen also sang occasionally I believe.

DOnna Jean Godchaux, now that's a female singer I really can't stand!

    Is Miley 18 yet?

    I'm sorry, that was inappropriate..

To answer the question though Miley is a pretty awful role model. I mean she's been prancing around in very little clothing since she was about 14..

Dude, her dad sang Achey Breaky Heart, you expect too much of her. She was born to be a stripper, and stripping has put many an upstanding female through nursing, law, medical, metahmphetamine manufacturing school so I think she is a great role model, especially for boys.
