Default Unable to Load Music from CD

I've been trying to load CDs into my itunes. Every time I try to load a cd I-tunes starts to load the first track fine but when it's about a 3rd of the way through the first track it loads the rest of the album really fasts then actually loads about a 3rd of the last track. When I try to play the songs it doesn't play any of the ones that I-tunes loaded quickly. I've ran the cd drive connection diagnostic in I-tunes and it had no problems recognizing the drive. To make things stranger, I've installed programs on cd to my computer with no problem since this has started. I've also tried other audio programs besides I-tunes and those haven't worked either. Does anyone have a clue what is wrong?

It seems that there's a protection on the disc.
Sometimes Music CD's are set up in a way that when you want to play them on your PC, you first have to install the software player that is included with the CD. In such a case it's not possible to use i-tunes, afaik.

I've installed the same albums on this computer before and it worked fine.
