The Roman Senate

Will the "Senator" rank remain for the Romani? I see that players will actually run for senate offices, so I was hoping that would be easier for FM's to gain the "Senator" rank like in konny's mod for EB1. I always envisioned it playing a bigger role in how you play the game.

For example, use konny's curus mod and usually keep all my senators in Rome reserving the honor of governing provinces and leading armies for them. The non-senators usually govern the Italian provinces until they can get enough experience, money, and influence to get elected to the senate. It creates a nice hierarchy of success for a FM from student to tribune to senator to either provincial governor or consul/praetor.
