    Default Question about Alex.exe

    My problem is this:

Originally i played EB on Rtw.exe. After some time I have switched to Alex exe. Now, when i play Multiplayer and after that i start EB with Alex.exe, EB runs in Multiplayer mod () . Because of that, after i play Multiplayer and i want to play single player EB on Alex, i have to run Single player shorcut first (which runs trivialscript), then exit, and then run EB on Alex exe. So my question is: what should i do in order to run single player campaign every time i run EB on Alex?

Is that problem related to fact that my EB Alex.exe doesn't run trivialscript? And, if so, what line should i add to my Alex.exe shorcut in order to run trivialscript?

    Thanx.

    Jebivjetar

This are lines of my shorcuts:

    1) Alex. exe:

    "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\rometw-alx.exe" -mod:eb -show err -nm -noalexander

    2) Rtw. exe:

    "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\EBTrivialScript\EBTrivialScript.exe" -s ebconfig.xml -runeb -type "Single Player"

I am not sure how trivial script works, but shouldn't you simply make sure that the correct EDU file is in the EB\Data folder before you start playing?

The difference between EB MP and SP is merely in the descr_export_unit.txt (EDU) file. The trivial script overwrites the EDU file in EB\data with the one from "EB\Data\mp EDU back up"* or "EB\Data\sp EDU back up"*, depending on what you select. If you are not using the trivial script, simply copy the .txt file from "EB\Data\sp EDU back up", rename it to descr_export_unit.txt and use it to replace the EDU file in EB\Data.

    Thanx Ludens !
    I'll try that.
