Question the annoying question of the day

    So, today will be :

when retraining a unit, how does the initial moral bonus evolve?

I mean, you all know there are a bunch of buildings, especially temples, that give moral bonus to units trained in the city owning that building. I can have for example, a Hastati trained in Rome, with the wonder it will get +2 moral, and if I build a temple of Mars it will add +3 more (high lvl temple), getting a +5 bonus (which is quite overpowered...)
if I retrain this unit with another one which has NO bonus, does it change the value? Or, if I retrain it in a city without bonus?
I assume it should be a "Yeah!", but does anybody actually know? In that case, gimme the numbers!

    Thanks. That's all for today.

It is quite likely morale bonuses don't actually work, or if they do only in the region they were trained. I don't think anybody has found conclusive evidence either way.

    Yes, extremely so ;-)

Slahadin, hang around for a while and you shall see your share of really anooying questions (I for one finds the Aex vs Rome one). Yours is one that is hard to answer for we do not even know if morale works.

Exp (Chevrons) is not added, there you are just raised to the highest of the two. If Morale works (I think it does not), then we can assume it is the same.

However, it is but an assumption and such can be wrong.
