Quite aside from the question of whether Diamondeye would put such a role in a 7 person game with two mafia, it's still nonsensical to announce it 14 minutes after the start of the game. The way he did it, if he's town, he pretty much ensured he's *not* going to get Mafia with it. He's not town by any standards of rational play or rational game design. Lynch him.

I have never played a game with a "town bomb" in it. I am not sure how the role plays out or should be played. If he is town bomb indeed and will take down mafia with him, the mafia alone will benefit from lynching him. If he is mafia and has claimed such a role, that is real ballsy indeed. But i don't think that is the case here.

If he's for real, then by claiming bomb he's pretty much ensured he will take down Town in a lynch and not mafia; and mafia will stay away from him at night so he won't get them then either. His very claim made the "will take down Mafia" part moot. You should realize that.

I also have a bad vibe on Renata. Private conversations with her ran the gamut from totally uncooperative and suspicious of me to reluctant to claim to praising how scary I am as a townie.

I feel her behavior indicates that she was put on the spot and didn't know how to react.

I have never seen Beefy change his play style whether mafia or town. I dont think he is going to pull such a move in this game.
If you believe Beefy is mafia why did you take your vote off him? Avoid the whiplash when he turns out to be pro-town? you thought i will not show up and so an easier target?

huh? since when does claiming a role early indicate someone's true affiliation or mean that they are telling the truth?
if this was someone other than you, i would have voted for you right away for role sniffing.

If I get lynched, pay attention to what I said about Beefy. I have my reasons for switching my vote to Atheotes, and yes, they are because I was presented with something that makes me think he just might be pro-town despite that BS claim. I voted Atheotes as a lurking alternative, and his by-the-book interpretation of the bomb role (ignoring the current circumstances) doesn't help him, but I'm also suspicious of ATPG for possibly being too accepting of Beefy. Best I can do.

ATPG has never played a game with me (in the category of completed, or we're both dead, and have actually interacted much) where he has been town, and therefore he doesn't have a good read on how I play as town myself, keep that in mind. My opinions once made are very strong, and it takes a lot to change them.
