Thermal Mercury sneaked into the house. He stopped for a moment and glared; his victim's bed was empty! What could this be? Slowly panicking, he looked around, only to hear a slight giggle from the other side of the room. His gaze fell on a suspicious-looking bulge in the curtain.
Beefy stuck out his head:
"Okay, you win. Kill me if you dare. But remember, I have the booomb...."
Thermal hesitated for a moment before killing Beefy, but ultimately his choice was taken.
For a while, nothing happened.
Then, nothing continued to happen.
Thermal was safe! Beefy the bomb was defused and dead!
And that meant...
MAFIA VICTORY!
Seeing as the mafia have eradicated all pro-town power roles and constitute half of the remaining players, the mafia, aka Atheotes and Thermal Mercury, has won the game!
Thanks to you all for playing and for making this my first game on the .org dreadfully exciting. And a close race!
You may now discuss the game freely. I will post some details and so on later and answer questions!
And remember to join in on the next SMS!

Well fought, mafia.
I believe we have some points we could work on, as townies.![]()

i believe i am totally correct to say that Thermal won the game. He did all the work and set up victory for us. I jsut could not come back in time to finish it.
well played TM. the "slot machine" role was awesome and welll thought out.![]()
It was a fun game Diamondeye. thanks for hosting it. Will look forward to the next one
Tough luck town. Not sure how it would have turned out if Subotan had revealed earlier.

Surprised by that result
Athelotes, nonsense, it was actually you that encouraged me to change how I voted, had I of gone for CDF I can only assume it would have been a townie win....so a toast to the MAFIA!![]()
For once, I haven't really been irritated with any game players, so thanks to everyone for a nice game.
Thanks to diamondeye for a great mini game (and a very well balanced one I think) And ummm....I don't think anyone is ever going to trust me again but still....![]()
Allow me to explain the situation the final night (since the alternative is sleeping so I can be awake in school tomorrow):
Beefy was (as Subotan) a lynch bomb. Meaning only lynch-triggered. Furthermore, the mafia win condition was to outnumber the innocents or equal the innocents number and have eliminated all pro-town power roles. This effectively means that if CDf had been killed (You cannot believe how close TM was to doing this!) instead of Beefy, there would have been another day. Since the possible (realistic) outcomes of that day was a tie between Beefy (voting for TM) and TM (voting for Beefy), the possible outcomes were possible:
-TM is lynched; town win.
-Beefy is lynched; TM blows up. Very strange situation that I considered calling a tie.
This meant that had these two been left, there was no way that the mafia could win; hence, it would have meant a town win (no matter how narrow!). I hope this explanation satisfies the questions people had as to the necessity of this last night phase and that I am indeed making sense.
Looking forward to the rest of the players' comments. And Beskars, provided he hasn't actually fled the thread![]()

Makes sense. Nice job, Mafia. It figures I act on my instincts when they're wrong and waffle when they're right. Obviously I should have pushed harder against TM at the end of the second day, and gotten subotan off the hook. The fact that no one WAS making "the mafia's argument" should have tipped me off that in fact it WASN'T.
Also, next time I suggest we all actually read the title of the game before we start, haha.
I see, I thought beefy was bluffing in the end...
So athelotes, you were infact the tide turner.
And nice try renata.![]()

Really good game. I honestly thought that the mafia wouldn't get such as powerful a role as they did in TM, so I went and trusted TM.
How wrong was I
Although I did think I did a pretty good job of proving my innocence when all the votes were cast on me
Great game btw, thanks!
here is our role pm
the powerful role you are talking about is all his bluffOriginally Posted by Diamondeye
