AARGH! Enough to drive one positively nuts! I have been writing great deals lately and my tendinitis has been causing me so much pain that I have been told by my therapist to stop typing any more than I have too. She told me that voice recognition worked really well for dictations and that I should consider using it. She said you can put text down twice as fast with it as typing, so I thought, what the heck, it is probably worth a try. After setting everything up and spending over two **** hours training that thing to recognize my voice, it still does not get half of what I say. I have been being really careful to pronounce everything I say clearly and to talk slowly, but it still get everything wrong. Even if it did get it right, with the load time it takes recognizing it and putting it down, I could still type much, much faster (I can literally type things almost as fast as I can speak them sometimes :P). I spend most of the time fixing the errors that it makes.
How can anyone use that crap?
PS Yes, this post was typed.![]()
