Default Has ne 1 had trouble with EB whilst running Windows 7

Hi im running EB with alex, i copied the game files from my old machine to my new gaming machine which is running windows 7. EB hardley ever crashed when i was using it with EP on my old machine. Now when using it with windows 7 i seem to get crashes after large battles and when capturing settlements, i have tryed re-playing the battles and re-capturing the settlements but when it crashes it will do it every time in that situation, iv had some amasing victories, only for the god dman game to crash and its seriously winding me up. Has ne 1 got advice that doesnt include reinstalling the game or software or ne other stupid self explanitry stuff :(

Read the validation post, also linked in the Important Information sticky. There's an entry for Windows 7 there.

There are also some entries about the crashes you're encountering in the frequent issues. Unfortunately there is no definite fix for them, but you may get some tips for making them less frequent.

I actually had trouble running it on Vista, but when I installed 7 64-bit, it worked very well! :o My computer is quite strange sometimes. XD

I had some issues with EB on Win7 myself, but they were performance issues.
