The construction of the Grand Blackjack Arena In Las Vegas had finished. Tonight was the launch night of one of the most well known and played casino games ever. Blackjack.
The Arena was huge, yet managed to be filled with a storm of people. Tourists flocked by the masses with their cameras to experience the grand opening and the ultra-high technological suite that was encased in the grand building. Las Vegas regularly gamblers were also in attendance, all of which were looking for ways to get their filthy paws on more cash. Many other ordinary townspeople, Doctors, Artists, Musicians, Coaches, even Priests filled the Arena seats and many had to stand up or were just denied entry altogether.
The entry fee was high, but the states were high, this was the ultimate place to be. The Blackjack Tournament had begun!
Though several tournaments were in the place, the main one, the one everyone was talking about, was the Gameroom tournament. The Gameroom was exclusively available to those notorious gamblers, but not just that, successful gamblers. These guys had all the girls and dollars they wanted. All billionaires without question, partially from luck, skill and some underhanded tactics. None of them were to be messed with.
There are 8 contestants, all are ready to try there luck which will ultimately lead to their rise or fall in the Las Vegas world. The dealer took his seat and dealt the cards.
The First Match of the day was between Yaseikhaan and Csargo, Yaseikhaan is a rather sinister soul, he has earned his place at the top mostly from shady dealings, expert hustling and an unnerving persona. However this would be of no use against his opponent, Csargo. Csargo is arguably the least deserving of his status, his wins purely from luck so far and usually being as a high as a kite, Yaseikhaan was definitely not going to scare this eccentric soul.
Yaseikhaan eyed his cards up. A grimace captured his face, he drew quite a few cards before halting, however his final result was a respectable 17. Csargo on the other hand shows that he truly is lucky, he didn't need to draw any cards and let off a loud hiccup and he stuck with a game winning 19. Yaseikhaan couldn't believe he was bet by a drunk Joker, but was confident he would win tomorrow, Csargo was elated by his win and made a promising start to the tournament.

The Second Match of the day was between Beskar and Joooray, Beskar's secret to success wasn't a secret at all, he was never one to deceive and simply used skill and common sense to get him where he was today, Joooray on the other hand was a tad unpredictable. He got here by making strange gambits and sensible sticks. He almost had a sixth sense as he often knew when to go on whether he had 10 or 20 in his hand.
Beskar was perhaps the most eager to prove himself and made his decisions early on, but a tricky hand and an unlucky twist lead to a disappointing bust, as he got a horrid result of 23. It seems no amount of skill could help him here, but just when he thought it was all over, he looked across the table. Joooray was sweating, he was taunting Beskar early on, but soon ground to a silence. He drew several cards, but things ended in cursing and anger. Out of poor awful luck, yet coincidence, he too got a terrible 23. Beskar regained his composure and was quick to point out that he used less cards than Joooray, and so Beskar snatched the win by the narrowest of margins. Either way this was easily the most disastrous match of the day.

The Third Match of the day was between Athelotes and the Cultured Drizzt Fan. Athelotes was rather arrogant and always thought he was the best, fortunately for him he had the skill to back his ego up, he had a win ratio of 25:1 and was therefore a master at his game of choice. The Cultured Drizzt Fan was just pure rich, in contrast his win ratio was not impressive at all, he hadn't even played blackjack much, but was simply LOADED this guy has money, and lots of it, this guarantees power to some degree. Though his experience was low he was a very lucky man.
Athelotes drew a few cards after seeing his first ones, he took some risks, but at a total of 19 he felt sure he could snatch this victory. He was incredibly confident at this point but unlike some cocky fools, kept a calm composure, for now at least, even if he was processing mental back flips. The Cultured Drizzt Fan, un-phrased, was not wasting anytime on waying up his opponent, but was more interested on how his personal luck would go. He preyed a little before he drew a card. Luck was on his side, he yelled 'YES' before he could stop his lips. But who had the better hand? The Cultured Drizzt Fan shown his, he had 20. Athelotes was in a state of shock as the Cultured Drizzt Fan added yet more money to his already massive coffers.

The Fourth and Last Match of the day was between Gekkamir and Diamondeye. Gekkamir was an all rounder, not above shady dealings, but mentally strong and not easily deceived, he rarely gave an opponent a chance to read into him, as he was always so calm and unchanged, whether he received an excellent or awful hand. Diamondeye, the last important sign-up, was the most controversial. Though one of the quietest people there it was his occupation that caused a stir. He was a gambling priest! And whilst he never committed himself into shady dealings, he was no pushover, though his behavior was strongly disagreeable, he was simply hooked and good at what he was hooked at too.
Gekkamir saw his cards and glanced at his ridiculous opponent with jest, his cards were tricky. He could have easily lost or won with the hand, but decided to stick straight away, then afterwords changing his mind, though it was too late for him to do so. He stuck at 15. Diamondeye drew a few times. It was tense, some wished he'd lose so he could finally end his gambling spree, others routed for him to show even priests can have fun! He stopped at a wise time and picked himself a delectable 18. The priest was victorious for now, unlike many other first round losers, Gekkamir took it quite well. Perhaps the wisest person so far. The priest was solemn even in winning, it seemed even though he gambled he was ashamed of it, and wasn't happy to celebrate until the very end.
Diamondeye beats Gekkamir
