Rome Total War Error.

Hey guys I'm new to the forums, Hai Not sure if this goes here but anyway....

I just recently purchased RTW and already I'm having trouble with it.
I installed the game and it works fine but when i click on say.. quick battle or anything else custom battle, campaign what ever it goes to the loading screen and the music plays while i wait for it to load the music keeps playing but it gets interrupted and starts like "crackling", it then starts to load a little bit then just gets stuck on a looping sound and i cant get back to my desktop so i have to restart my computer... any suggestions.........
I thought it might of been the patches for it? so i downloaded patch 1.5 but still nothing happend...

You need to post in the tech support forum https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forum...aysprune=&f=15 and give system specs.

Have you updated your sound and graphics card drivers recently? If you've got a Creative sound card, their older drivers used to cause RTW problems IIRC.
