Let me know if BI gets rid of the after battle crashing.

And I wait beyond 20 seconds after every battle before pressing the little check btw. I wish I had a 64 bit system then I could load it up with 8 gigs of ram. As it is, I have 4 gigs in a 32 bit system.

I still wait a while after battles, and I haven't had one yet.

I never have crashes after a battle, but lots of them during ai turns.
As these usually come from revolts I edited export_descr_buildings
to give bonuses to the ai to prevent it's towns from revolting.
Heavily unbalances the game but atleast it runs.

the only problem for me is when it crashes to the desktop after a battle and i tried the "SOLUTIONS" by waiting 20 secs until the music stops or to change the sound from the options but nothing....

    i have
    win xp 32bit sp3
    4 gb ram
    asus 5870 1 Gb
    intel 2quad 2.40 ghz

Eb 1.2 with fixes, alex.exe, the rome folder (with alex exe) is copied(from Program files), pasted and renamed in D:/games/eb so i can use the alex exe for other mods if you know what i mean...

So how in the name of Zeus's have you managed not to have these blasted crashes i beg of you please share with us what have you done pleaseeeeeeeeeee........

Interesting. I have never experienced a crash on an AI turn. But I also give a massive happiness bonus via the EBD to the governor's buildings for every faction except the one I am playing.

However I played two campaigns before that and never suffered a crash on an AI turn too.

Yeah, I hadn't experienced an AI turn crash until I made this thread. Still good on my BI game though. No crashes yet.

    Nearly exactly my specs.
    That can't be it.

Everyone is calling alex.exe the most stable but after having after battle crashes with it I went back to bi.
But everyone calls alex.exe the most stable so I quess that's just me.
