Thread: experience and unit size

    Default experience and unit size

Maybe this has been asked before... but I hate necroing ^^.
I know that experience gain decreases as you play with larger unit size.
Does anyone know the exact proportion?

But this is not my main question :

I play with 100 as basic unit size, I customized it in the preferences. I'm afraid this counts for HUGE unit size, as it is bigger than the large one... and because I find it very hard to gain chevrons.

Even on a bridge or with auto-calc battle I rarely see a silver chevron, and if so it disappears when I retrain.

so... should I switch to large unit size? Huge is too much for my poor laptop!

Hmm, I think you should try on large, because it wasn't as laggy as huge (for a poor laptop), but not as ridiculously retarded as normal (I say retarded because Kataphraktoi on 2 men deep formation can smash swordsmen to complete annihilation from frontal charge, note, the Katas I mean are Griphanvar, Ysaninu Aysiramja, and Hetairoi Kataphraktoi (who for some weird reason, love to grow up into 30 men (when I still play normal before upgrading my laptop memory), but in large, the largest they groy is about 50 men.
