No more, bum-rushing AI's cities behind the back's of its main armies.
I am not so sure by his approach to "removing the melee bug", by rendering all units into skirmish types.
I played about 10 big battles with his mod. In all of those I formed a solid shooting line. The AI would not know what to do with it. It approached, bundled up in the middle (overlapping its own units) and stood there while being shot to pieces by my line. Sure, the AI did not melee, but in this situation, it would have actually benefited the AI to charge.
One of the main flaws of the ETW (and other TW games too) BAI is that it simply does not know how to form and keep a line. Since this behavior is hardcoded, it is impossible to fix it by adjusting unit parameters even by such talanted modders as Darth.
Another thing that "bugs" me about Darth's mod is that the hide ability is rendered completly useless. The spotting parameter has been boosted to such an extend that the regular AI units can spot hiding light infantry across half the map. If the AI army has a general or artillery (even longer spotting distance), you cannot hide even across the whole map...
