I've had this game for a little while, just less then a month, and i find myself geting bored with it, i usually play Counter-Strike now instead of it, should i try playing online or is it the same as the normal game? once you beat STW it isnt fun anymore...

that's too bad, STW is the one game that lasted the longest on my computer, many months of solid gameplay.
I've since gotten a few others but really none have been as good as STW (although Diablo 2 was very addicting, it doesn't have as much replay value)
I'm sure after the Mongol set comes out, I'll have a fresh view of the game and many more months of regular gameplay.

The single player is fun when you need time to kill. But the multiplayer is what makes the game last.

The on-line battles are much, much, better than single play. Becuse when you play on-line you can communicate and set up plans with your friends. I've been playing shogun for about 8 months now, and I still love it

I new to playing online, but it definitely broadens the game. So far I have enjoyed playing online, all I need is to stop getting disconnected from the server.

I am looking forward to just as long as there aren't to many bugs in it.

I hauled butt to CompUSA the day Shogun Total War was in stock and have played it regularly between twice a week to everyday since getting it, and only started multiplayer this week, and not even because I was sick of single player.
