    Urm you can try to give him a trait via a cheat?

    give_trait "Generalsname Romanvs""EBFertile"3

    That will give him the trait 'prolific' and gives him +3 to fertility (I think).

    That's what I did with one of my awesome generals...too bad his son was 'not like his father' :|

    ^Even if he was like his father he still wont be identical. I've buried my dream of producing superior boys. It doesn't happen. In the end of the day you need to school your generals and take 'em to battle. It's better to just wait for the sharp/charismatic/vigorous ones through adoption or marriage. They won't stop popping up until you reach your limit (about the same as number of cities you own). Anyway, generals don't need to be fertile to have children. I get at least 2 children from every general. Well maybe one or two didn't produce any but I didn't notice it so it's gotta be insignificant right?
