Arcanum and Gabriel Knight, dooods.
So many good games in Activision's catalogue ... and so many indifferent ones or stinkers. They don't say how many games they will have either. Could be as few as 8 if you assume 2 per week for a month. I strongly hope that GoG have been able to leverage this deal to get a tonne of the games people want.
EDIT: interview here
Weee! Possible NOLF2! That means NOLF1 is also likely! I still have my CDs for both but they don't work too happily on my PC.Many more titles are planned (the acclaimed spy shooter No One Lives Forever 2 is rumoured thanks to a clue from the team), though none announced -- you'll just have to wait and see in the weeks to come.

Frogbeastegg's Guide to Total War: Shogun II. Please note that the guide is not up-to-date for the latest patch.
is the total war franchise in its entirety now owned by sega, in which case is there any significance for us as TW fans now that GoG have signed Activision?

I think the rights for old titles stay with whoever published them as long as they didn't sell the rights.
