So, since there's been no objection, I'll just move this on as accepted. We should alter the rules according to this, so that new Verrixes don't have to come from the Vollorixes. Or is choosing between just 2 guys fine?

Anyway, below are the new tribes. As before, state your opinion if you have one.

    Arverni (Gergovia (Cap), Viennos))
    Verrix: The Celtic Viking
    MerlinusCDXX
    HunGeneral
    Hotseat_User
    Shylence

    Sequani (Vesontio)
    Vollorix: ?
    Celtic_Punk
    Cultured Drizzt fan
    johnhughthom
    /Bean\

(I think I'm going to regret putting CP and Bean both in the other tribe if this list stands... )

@ TCV - I think it's better if all members are allowed to vote the Verrix. On the other hand I think that the Volorix'es should have more impact on the decission - maybe their votes count twice?

Uhmm and I think that we should just hold elections for the crown-prince position and the Verrix should be elected for lifetime. He could abadon his duty but in that case the heir would be going to be new Verrix. This is the Arverni-faction - they elected a GOD-King so there shouldn't be a vote on his position directly. And the elections of this heir-position should be holded if say half of the Chiefs with electionrights demand it. (But also in this case - a Vollorix vote should count double.)

    errr...grammar anyone.

Well, yes, it can't really just be the Vollorixes, because with only two... I do agree all should get to vote.

The Vollorixes do have more influence, though. That is already in there (see "confederate influence").

You should be careful here - god-king or not, this does not disqualify the possibility of an election. In fact, if the EB description is to be trusted, that's actually exactly what they did it. The god was revealed through the vote.

I'm not sure I understand what you're proposing here. Have I understood you correctly if I take this as "if half the chiefs who are eligible for the position demands that the elections be halted, they will"? If so, to what end? What purpose would doing so serve?

I think you got my point. It's kinda like as with petitions. I think it's not good if only one chief needs to ask for an election. That will happen contineously. So one should need supporters for his proposal for re-elections first.

    and the god-thingy - I may misread the faction-discriptions

Oh, but the way the game is setup is that the Verrix will only be elected when the old one dies. You don't call for an election... it calls you.

(Yes, I had to use that cliché. It's in the rules.)

There are no re-elections, either. Once the Verrix is elected, he's set for life.
