Well, yes, it can't really just be the Vollorixes, because with only two... I do agree all should get to vote.

The Vollorixes do have more influence, though. That is already in there (see "confederate influence").

You should be careful here - god-king or not, this does not disqualify the possibility of an election. In fact, if the EB description is to be trusted, that's actually exactly what they did it. The god was revealed through the vote.

I'm not sure I understand what you're proposing here. Have I understood you correctly if I take this as "if half the chiefs who are eligible for the position demands that the elections be halted, they will"? If so, to what end? What purpose would doing so serve?

I think you got my point. It's kinda like as with petitions. I think it's not good if only one chief needs to ask for an election. That will happen contineously. So one should need supporters for his proposal for re-elections first.

    and the god-thingy - I may misread the faction-discriptions

Oh, but the way the game is setup is that the Verrix will only be elected when the old one dies. You don't call for an election... it calls you.

(Yes, I had to use that cliché. It's in the rules.)

There are no re-elections, either. Once the Verrix is elected, he's set for life.

But we can't do that within the confines of the RTW engine, unless we are ignoring the in game faction leader.

Reload, set heir, kill Verrix? That's how Ibn was going to do it, and if he can, then I will not allow CDf to fail doing the same!

But I suppose we can remove the IG FL thing, too, or hold regular votes, or do as Hotseat suggested and have elections called. If so, we'd have to set limits to that; like, only 1 election/2 regular councils, and you can only call on one vote/rule-span (i.e., if my character is the Verrix and Hotseat calls for a vote, then he has to wait for my character to die and for someone to succeed me before he can call on one again). Who can call them should be limited, too.

Edit: I might add, though, that I'm mostly in favour of just removing the IG FL thing.

InGame FactionLeader right? I think it's the easiest way, too. Can we then - as Leader and Heir are given bonus traits ingame - implement some trait-thingy or a retinue for the Vollorixes and so? But to be honest - I've no plan how to do it as you may know.

Well, if someone here knows how to do it, that would be awesome. I, myself, don't know how, and if someone else does, it has to be saved game compatible, or we'd lose all the RGBs.

Trait is better option since these can be removed but ancillaries/retinues can't.
Ancillaries can be moved from one character to another but that could become too timeconsuming in the later stages of the game(trust me.. I know).
You can also remove any bonuses that FL or FH traits could give to characters.

I won't be a general, but I guess I'll start off with the Sequani tribe since it has fewer people.

While we wait, have another warmup drawing!
