    It's a problem with the animations I think, I'm not sure. The overhand spear.
    Go to: descr_model_battle.
    The phalanx unit have a skeleton "fs_thp_f_spearman_p"

    I made them a phalanx in my game too, but I had no trouble.
    I guess it might be the short pike atribbute.

    you can give them "phalanx" formation without giving anymore attributes

    yaw, but I think the phalanx (which is the sarissa phalanx) was removed since those hoplites aren't sarissa pikemen and never used the sarissa formation?

    I was just trying to see if they can use TW Fanatic's traditional hoplite-mod with the short pike attribute.

    If this worked, I would've given it to the sacred band, massilian hoplites, Bactrian-hoplites, etc and all the other traditional hoplite units that have 2 weapons...
