Thread: Ariminum CTD

    Question Ariminum CTD

I'm having some weird CTD in my current Ptolemai game.

The Romani own Ariminum and Carthage is beseiging it, the CTD happens during the AI turn when Carthage assaults the city.

I tried to dubble click on the city but then I get an instant CTD so I can't look at the settlements details but I'm pretty sure there's no civil unrest.

I tried to bribe the city too but this also gives a CTD. Anyway here's the weird thing, when my diplomat tried to bribe the city there appeared to be a eleuteroi captain inside instead of a roman one.

I tried to switch factions to the romani, everything works fine as long as I don't click on Ariminum to see what's going on, if I do there's an instant CTD.

So it seems that Ariminum is controlled by both Romani and Eleutheroi. Any one have an idea to fix this?

Make a backup of your savegame. You may want to upload it so others can try it.

I would start by using FD to get control over Ariminium, but without directly contacting it. If this works, raze everything and gift it back.

Second option would be to interact with the rebel captain and trying to teleport him away (if the rebel army got inside by accident).

Tried all that but nothing worked, never seen anything like this before.

Anyway I just used a savegame I made a couple years before the CTD cuz I don't think there's a way around it.
