The following is partly a balancing idea as well as I just feel it is wrong now.

As it is now we have three different speeds for mounted units: Camel speed (14 run, 12 for Kataphraktoi and Gothic Knights and 16 charge), Cavalry speed (20 run and 22 charge) and Light Cavalry speed (24 run and 26 charge).

I would like to bring back to good old Naginata Cavalry speed (16 run and 20 charge). It is simply too large a jump between Camel and Cavalry, especially considering many units in the Cavalry group are actually quite heavy.

The units I would move to the Heavy Cavalry speed would be: Khwarazmian Cavalry (the advantage of the speed they have now is much more than the disadvantage of the -2 to charge compared to Kats.) , Chivalric Knights (they are quite heavily armoured), all Royal Knights (this would make the mass Royals in SP less formidable), High and Late Ghulam Boduguards (they are finally as heavy as European knights)and finally Lancers (they have enough armour to be considered very heavy).

Units that could be argued to be in that group that I don't want there would be: Feudal Knights (they are not really that heavy), Pronoiai Allagion (same as Feudal Knights), Early Ghulams (they are at destinct disadvantage compared to Early Royals as they are lighter), Golden Horde Heavies (they need to be a little special, just like their HA that are just fast Mamluke HA, but I'm willing to discuss these) and finally all the Order Knights (this would make them viable even when Chivalrics appear and they did have some of the best horses).

These changes would make Feudal Knights viable in later games, and it would make Mounted Sergeants and Hobilars (comparably) better at running down fleeing enemies. Also, the heavy knights would be a little more vulnerable to archery and easier to check in MP.
