Default On how effective armour has been

A group of students from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has recently tried to re-build a Linothorax.

Their outcome is quite impressive, although they reconstructed it only by written guidances as linen is not the consistent material.

    Here is their documentation: http://www.uwgb.edu/aldreteg/Linothorax.html

    An article from discovery.com: http://news.discovery.com/archaeolog...eat-armor.html

I have to say the last 3 seconds of the video, they had an arrow bounce off the linothorax. If it was truly that strong, that is impressive.
