    Hahaha,

    Well, damn.

Firstly, and I hate to do this to Strike, I must say that doing pushups is no harder on your rotator cuffs than doing bench presses, and the more you do, the more your rotator cuffs will get used to doing them. I have done 150 pushups a day for the past 3 years, and am yet to receive injury.

Secondly, a routine I had based around pushups, pullups, crunches, one legged squats has been keeping me averagely fit from home from everywhere around the workd, and I swear by it. Admittedly, I would prefer to have regular access to the gym, but I take it as a challenge rather than an obstacle.

Thirdly, any grown man should be able to lift himself off the bloody floor! Repeatedly!

At 70-75kg you should have absolutely no problem doing as many pushups as you like.

I distribute my 150 into 50 in the morning when i get up, and 100 for after I arrive from work, all on an empty stomach.

You must get 6-8 hours a night for any kind of physical exercise.

And lastly, yes, you can watch TV and do pushups simultaneously.

Right now I'm sitting at about 110 Kg, in order for me to get the same kind of resistance from pushups that I ger from say bench/military I would have to do thousands of pushups everyday and that would just be counter productive and tear my shoulders to sherds.

Altohugh I realize not everyone has the same goals as me and probably should've included that in my rant

I still think it's a bad program and he needs to get his diet in sleep schedule in order first.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Yep, nothing more important than sleep and a good diet in strength training
