CTD´s around 219-217BC - seem i cant get beyond

hello, after help here for installing EB 1.2 (fixes also) i managed it to play since mid of december ...wasnt here since cause the game is really marvelous and i used my short free time to go further in my campaign - so i played the Greco Bactrian Faction with no troubles at all until first massive CTD´s beginning around 219BC.
(had until then only one CTD years back but could dodge it quite easily with a shortly former saved game)

but now dont know what to do - spent much time with reloading again and again with all different variations (with EB Script loading, without, with doing after loading nothing - no building or recruiting or then again with and so on ..yes i read in the links regarding CTD´s but i really could need help.

the link to my latest saved game: http://ul.to/ien0i7 (Winter 217BC) no impending rebellions in the last years/seasons at all. ..most critical area: Susa wich i shortly before conquered. ...but the CTD´s emerged more and more since around 219BC before i took Charax ...but then i could mange it to dodge it with much effort (reloading again and again and also: sometimes i had to pass just a round with doing nothing, also no moving of units just to come into the next round/season)

the CTD´s happened with end of turn - but in one occasion also in midst of the battle for Susa - had there a saving just shortly before the battle as until then often done and never a problem (until i read now that this provokes a CTD) ...changed the sound to direct3dsound already but again: crash in midst of Battle.

(..hope also my english is good enough to be understood :-) ..sorry if not so.

i could add there more saved game links because with this one i couldnt go further ...if anyone will help me and other saved games are needed i can add these.

yes strangely enough one time i had also a CTD after starting the game when the old intro of the Original RTW shows up and when i pressed ESC to skip it. ..had to watch this whole intro and then it runs again ..but this happened only one time. (..also now around 218BC.)

hope i added enough information and would be pleased over help - cause this is really the best PC Game i ever played ..just awesome.

You had two rebellions going on, one in Oxtraca and one in Gava-Alanna. I fixed those and saved the turn after, the file is found here.

If you use the trivial script to start EB than disable movies at the preferences, if you use a shortcut add -nm to the target, just at the end.

If there are more CTD's post again! So long, have fun with battling the Grey Death!!

wow - thanks didnt expect that you can solve something just with that saved game :-)

but regarding the rebellions: ..i dont even now where Oxtraca lies ..Gava-Alanna i guess i read somewhere but they are not my satrapies .. thought only rebellions in own satrapies will cause troubles.?

hmm trivial script - i dont even know now what this is ..after i finally managed to run the game in december i always used the same one shortcut that worked. its: EB 1.2 err-ne i had to use a shortcut from the original RTW - i mean the icon is not this from EB ..but it works.

i´ll try to get the file right now and play further - write back afterwards.

everything runs fine now :-) thank you very much XSamatan ..you made my day.

a question regarding the maps now after you fixed these rebellions/causes for the CTD - now i can see everything and everywhere what is goin on in the ancient world ...no spies or trading map information necessary.
..is this a sideeffect from fixing ..i mean is it possible to make the world again more unexplored ...like it was before? ..i like it to have a big and unexplored world there - ...like it was definitely back then (at least from a single kingdoms viewpoint)

..maybe some command wich i can type there myself in ...i´m total inexperienced in giving commands to change something in the game.

Oops, I turned fog of war off, to see all towns...

open the console with "^", it's the button left of the 1/one and type "toggle_fow" (Without the " ) until you come back to the normal view.

Must have forget that before I saved your game...
