Default Google street view as armchair tourism

I initially thought that only the major cities of the world had gotten photographed; but apparently you can travel through the country side and brilliant nature as well.

A few suggestions from the top of my head:

    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...2,38.82,,0,3.7

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Ah, yes. My primary school is there, my secondary school is there, my high school is there...my uni is there as well. My current apartment is also there; yes I can in fact see the window which I am currently sitting behind.

What are you talking about? All the other places were exotic, that picture is the first that wasn't overseas

When I get home I'll try post some of my favourite places.

I forgot to mention: check out the full screen mode; some of the image sets are of pretty decent quality.
