You've caught me! In fairness Seleucids or Ptolmey would have killed each another by now, good to see them both in it. Little surprised at Hai and Epiros though. Sweboz and Getai have fought consistently over Ebrunobrum and have been massacred mercilessly by their roving general, their weight of numbers should win out though.

Great shame.
My Pontic empire on H/H, expansion has been checked by a brutal Seleukid onslaught
My Baktrian Campaign,
Just recently (about 5 years ago) wiped out the Parthians and Sakae. After that ive been replacing all my level 3 government with level 2. Currently planning an assault into India.
What I do not understand is...
1. Why do mines give me 600 when the description says 2000?
2. What would be the best government type for the indian provinces?

Lol, that's a blitz that Fluvius would be proud of.
As far as the mines, there are three types: gold, silver and salt. Each gives a different amount, gold obviously being more. In addition, depending on how many mines are in the region, the money you make off of them changes. For example, Makedonia has three mines I believe so it makes three times as much as a region with only one. However, the building can only display one amount despite all these variables. Don't ask me why 2000 was chosen but thats why the numbers don't add up.
Indian government are tricky. I usually start off with a type 4, develop the local MIC's so that I can recruit units like the Guild Warriors and Indo-Iranian Heavy Cavalry, and then switch over to a level 2 gov so I can get all the Indo Greek units. I do like to roleplay my campaigns though so this probably takes some 50 years or so, showing how long it would take for Hellenes to move into India and start the cultural fusion that is needed for these units to exist. In any event, I believe you can recruit elephants from either local or native barracks so no worries there.
I dont call that a blitz, im using RS 2 movement points :D .
And no elephants for the AI.

I'm not sure what increase that is but if it gets rid of the winter shutting down your campaigning i suppose you would expand 25% faster.
Id reach Takashila to Marakanda with a fast general unit in 1 turn.

It probably takes me about 8. No wonder you expand so much faster.

Salt doesn't give mining income, it's just a trade resource like Grain, Fish or Precious Stones. Only Gold and Silver give mining income and BOTH give 600 for the first level mine and 1500 for the second level. If there are more than one resource in a province they'll add up. I believe Gold is more worth when traded then Silver but I'm not sure.
Never heard a reason why the mining income in the building description is so high (2000/5000) that's CAs fault, IIRC that number was misleading in the vanilla game too.
Yep, CA messed up a bit.
Worst name in the history of ever?
So he's from the Sahara. What's the problem? :)

Touche, touche.
And we are back....
First up, is the extremely messy situation in Central Europe, Carthage has reduced Rome to a rump state, and now at war with Getae and Luso.
The situation in Gaul, Arverni were attacked on two sides by both the Aedui and Luso, got exterminated, and are now the Galatian Kingdom.
Speaking of the Galatian kingdom, they have made the situation of messy Asia minor even more messy, immedietely going to war with Makedon and Pontus, who , surprisingly have not been very succesful.
Thankfully, Ptolemie is kicking seleucid arse, since the fools sent most of their army across the Iranian Plateau to fight me, I presume this is the reason things have been relatively quiet for some 5 years
The guy who exterminated the Indians, also known as successor of my current succesor, Diodotos of Baktria.
I am playing with Jyrisis Mega mod pack, I must say, the RS2 movement speeds have really sped the game up!! Makes it much more interesting
My plan now is to hibernate for atleast 10 years, or, Until India is developed and I have an army which I use in Multiplayer, this means waiting for the Indian Guild warriors, and Indian Longbowmen.

regarding the mines you must assume that those numbers are correct and what you really get from the mines is the taxs being payed while the rest is what goes into the economy
think of it this way the usa goverment builds up a supertech university where all matters of people are trained those people make companies and the total gains directly gained by those people are worth 10 billion but what the state trully gets from that university is only the income taxs they can collect out of the companies that that project enabled the creation of
Basic mines of Patala are giving me 1200... That is first level.

I prefer homogen armies, because I can merge them easily after the battle. :)
Update to my Baktria campaign.
The ageing Theodotos Baktrios finally bites the dust and makes room for Dodo Baktrios. Though I do not like having such an old faction leader... Nevertheless he will soon die ( or will be forced to die ) at the age of 60 anyway, that means my current heir will be 40 by that time and his son will have matured.
The remnants of the Arverni establish a thriving kingdom in Central Europa.
The Lusotannan steamroller steamrolls Carthage out of Italy, carthaginian military strength has been thwarted, and It should be interesting to see if they still attack or remain dormant, on the Other hand, their allies the Romani, snatch a few cities for themselves, this means I have a chance at those awsome late bodyguards if the Lusotannan dont turn on the romans.
On the other side of the map, the Pontiks smash all their armies on to the Galatian wall while the Makedonians take their cities. At the moment, the Galatians and Macedonians are at peace, so that means that the Galatians either go south into the levant, or fight with Makedonia over Asia Minor.
The recent Seleukid offensive into Asaak leaves Babylon and the heart of their empire wide open for the Ptolemaics to exploit.

He may be using the RS vegetation pack, either the old campaign map only one or the new campaign and battle map one. I'm not quite sure if he is though by looking at it.
