All graphics blurred

Hello,
I've changed my hardware lately and come up to a weird problem in EB 1.2.
Everything on a screen, every font, every piece of graphics is slightly blurred like out of focus in photography.
I checked with vanilla RTW - all is sharp as it should be so I guess it's an issue with EB and maybe my new GFX? It's Asus EN9800GT by the way. I cant figure out how to fix this. Any ideas folks?

Just a first guess:
in "Rome - Total War\EB\preferences\preferences.txt" search for DESYNC, is it true? If not set it to TRUE.

Your Drivers are updated? Which OS are you playing? If Win7, try to play with the compatibility modes of RTW.exe and set Visual Designs, Scaling and Desktop-management to deactivated.

This is the first time I heard of a problem like yours, so I'll just guess there is something with your configuration what either your GPU or RTW/EB can't handle. All of the EB graphics are more detailed than RTW (if possible), maybe this is the trick.

Hi again,
Problem solved. The thing was in screen refresh frequency. I checked Window mode in EB prefs and all is fine now. I'm happy and conquering again.
