But since we've decided we aren't going to use the IG FL thing, you really can't use that in this calculation, so even if that's true it's not really relevant. No, not even in the beginning: I sincerely doubt that Aneirin will get 10 influence before he dies, as I've never seen that happen in my numerous games with him.
The first saved game has been uploaded so you can check around (but not change anything). This reminds me: should we cheat and give ourselves 5000 mnai and play it like the game started now, since I didn't spend anything except on RGBs?
Everyone is free to decide both where they start and why, so long as it's within the confederacy's borders. Of course, everyone's also free to give up this decision for popular vote...Originally Posted by /Bean\

(Not the least because, IIRC, the Sequani garrison is actually stronger than my force... I mean, sure, I am an awesome character and my mere presence does demand respect and obedience, but still.) We're supposed be be real allies, not master and subject, and as happened in history, the Sequani could (and with all probability, will) assume the leadership at some point. This they can do without using any devious scheme of their own, which isn't in line with them being unwilling members.

I know it is, but it doesnt have to be forceful alliegence. Your character could basically have gone there saying will you add your troops to mine, and they said yes.

Well, seeing as my character's the Verrix and he lead the Confederate army, it would make a whole lot more sense if he came to claim soldiers from you than the other way around. Then again, it could also be that I just went there to inform the Sequani Vollorix of a confederate meeting, or to talk to him about the weather - or I can just choose to start somewhere else.
Just checked the save, the FL influence won't be a problem with Aneirin but I think the issue still stands that a full influence Verrix will be almost impossible to outvote.
I agree we should give ourselves 5000 as we had to move the game on to get the RGBs.
I don't see why we can't accept that, though, having some extremely charismatic god-king ruling the confederacy. It's not like we can't avoid it, and have to elect charismatic people with the IG FL thing. We could set someone who can't/doesn't want to become Verrix as heir and then just elect someone else.
isn't the SOT-thread the same as TCV's new char-Tread? please tell me about the little(?) differences!
orationes tuas ego laudare soleo, imitari neque possim, si velim, nec velim fortasse, si possim. [M. T. C.]
The only difference I see is you're supposed to use the new one to say about the history and placement of your character, which I always do in my SOT's anyway, so not much difference really
