As only the Sequani have held elections for their Vollorix - I'd like to hold one too! Could'a be better if TCV might is seperatet a little

Well, the thought was when we made the rules that the Verrix would have the place of Vollorix in his own tribe, since the Verrix would be chosen from amongst the Vollorixes. This we (me, CP and CDf) agreed would work when we thought we would have 3 tribes. Since we won't, maybe this should be changed, though I don't know how. Should the Verrix stand outside all tribes, and be... "tribeless"? Should he being Verrix be completely irrelevant in the tribal assembly, even if this means that the same man who leads the Confederation is a messenger boy in his own tribe?

on that note. will the elected Verrix stay Verrix even if his tribe has a new Vollorix?

Maybe he can be voted from the Vollorix, head of his tribe, to Verrix, to head of all the tribes, and thus his former post as head of the single tribe is replaced by another. Meaning CP and CDF as Tribe leaders, and TCV as Tribes Leader...The 's' is SO important

Err, I don't think the Arverni will have a Sequani as their Vollorix.

Anyway, H_U, my Swede-sense tells me that you're in favour of re-electing the Vollorix upon the older one being elected Verrix, as are you, Bean. None of you seem to answer the directly following question, though: what happens then with the Verrix in relation to his tribe? I mean, does he still take part in the inner-tribal gatherings and sessions? Does he still vote? If so, from what position and with what power does he do this? Is he a regular tribesman within his tribe (thus "demoted" there from Vollorix to... something else), should we create a special "Verrix" state within the tribe, despite the fact that Verrix is a strictly Confederate rank? Will he be viewed as not part of a tribe anymore?

I think we should keep the Verrix as the Volorix of his tribe for now. Although it could be possible for the Verrix to name a Temporary volorix for governing the tribes lands while he is away leading the Army of the confederation.

Well to my impression the Verrix would also stay elected as his tribes Vollorix. What better than a godking as tribeleader?

My question was just - if one wants to be Vollorix of the Arverni - must he "kill" Aneirin? Cause I think this is a wrong way. And bacause this I'd rather say it is possible to elect a new Vollorix trough tribe-assembly. I just think one has to have the possibillity - and not have to join an other tribe or open his own one. Then we could just play with the tree's intended first.

Oh and yes - I second Beans proposal. But only that the Verix' Vollorix post is to be newly decided. And the tribe also could elect the Verrix as their Vollorix. Just no 'mustbe-personalunion' of the posts Verrix/Vollorix.
