I dont think they managed to change the buildings from Medieval II "medieval buildings" into classical buildings yet. Must be a humongous task! THink they cracked the code however...

If they have found a way to redo the buildings that would be very good news indeed. Worth putting in a preview.
Apparently, the 'De Bello Mundi' team has already implemented some buildings. But they say it is hard and it takes a long time.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Is it possible to implement at least the EBI, ergo RTW textures?

Hello Maximus of Phoenicia, welcome to the .Org!
I am not entirely sure what you are asking. Do you simply want to have R:TW cities instead of M2:TW ones, or are you asking for accurate historical city maps? I know that in R:TW it is possible to create customized battle maps for individual cities, so that for example the battle map of Rome actually imitates that of historical Rome. Peninsula Italia implemented this, IIRC. Problem is that these maps are fixed, i.e. they do not change to represent upgrades or city growth over the duration of the campaign. And obviously Rome and several other major cities changed a great deal during EB's time-frame. Furthermore, it is a great deal of work to create such maps (never mind researching them), so the EB team did not bother with this.
