    Question looking for...

    hi brothers in arms,

I just had to install a new, "clean" version of EB because of too many CTDs, and I've started gathering all the sub-mods I like.

I got the Alex exe, vanilla sea, got rid of the giant trees, and installed the minimod pack. Plus a few changes I mae before on temples and wonders.

It's working good, even with my previous saved games (apart from a few FM that cause a CTD if I look at them...) !

BUT... there is something missing. Something very important, and I don't know where I got it :

how do you make battles look better, getting rid of the "vanilla" interface and having a minimal, removable shortcuts on the screen, in order to enjoy the sight of blo... eeerrrrrrr... ya, you know.

I know from the pics I saw on this forum many of you changed that. Do YOU remember how?

    Tx !

If you use the trivial script to start EB, select the option for minimal_UI. If not, go to [RTW folder]\EB\preferences and open preferences.txt. Set minimal_UI to true.

Stupid question: When you turn on minimal UI, how do you get game speed to change? In the vanilla UI, there are buttons for single, double, and triple speed, but I can't find the keys to press in the minimal UI.

Use [Ctrl] + [T] for switching between fast and normal, and [P] for pause.
