    Cool Hi All!

Just finished reading James Barclay's 'Cry of the Newborn'. It read like a fantasy version of Rome Total War. Then I was reading his bibliography of the next book in the series and he wrote this:

"It was in all regards a most uplifting moment in time. We didn't finish talking until the early hours and by then had drifted on to many other 'authorly' topics, played out some battles in 'Rome: Total War' and discussed Dave's latest work, the third part of the Troy trilogy, Fall of Kings."

This Dave being not DD but the David Gemmell.

Anyhow I hope everyone in the Backroom is behaving and enjoying themselves. I'm a bit snowed under with work.

    See you around soon.

Lots of well umm Love I guess ,
    Pape

David Gemmell was a big supporter of Barclay's work. It was on his recomendation that I bought Dawnthief.

Oh, and I knew he played RTW, we considered sending him a copy of Europa Barbarorum at one point.

See, and that's Australia. This proves Global Warming is a hoax, which means all you leftists are wrong about your genocide of fetuses, meant to destroy our societies and take revenge on our religious feelings.

    Thanks Louis,

So when are you going to take the green? :)

I'm glad I added the correct tags to this thread.

Work is fairly full on and if I survive probabtion then go the distance, it will be very cool to see where this place goes. They want to be the number 1 contact centre in the world regardless of business type. Quite a different stance from working for a major outsourcer to an insourcer that is going for gold, gold, gold.

    Exhausting but worth it.
