Shutting up my macbook

Stupid thing stop talking. Quit when i ask you to, how do I turn this off, quit seems to a bit too hard for this smart machine.

QUIET I SAID IT, ****, STOP TALKING

NO it isn't smart when your browser keeps reseting to top position, it's unworkable. How do I turn this off.

Any number of these will do:

turn off the sound;
turn off/de-install whatever it is that annoys you;
install something that doesn't annoy you and use that instead.

Can't give much other advice/reply without some clues as to what is not shutting up and what is this unworkable browser you speak of.

Well a full reboot finally shut the thing up. Worst feature ever.
